Be careful when ordering this...you think it has an on and off switch for the LED light, IT DOESN'T. When I wrote to the seller about it they said "About the switch button problem you mentioned.The function of the switch button is to turn off the LED light.This product is to pull the plug every time you change the water." Well, yeah, that's what the on and off switch is for...I hate to have to unplug it every time I want to turn the light off...not just to change the water.My son has the same one, bought from a different vendor that has the on and off switch...wish I would have bought it from his vendor.

The first fountain light went out in under a week. I returned it and got a replacement. The second fountain light went out in under a month. The rest of the fountain works fine. You just don't have a warning system for low water levels. I check it every night so it's fine for now. But there seems to be a design issue. I wouldn't buy this one if I was counting on the light.

This little water bowl is SUPER easy to use and as cute as it is in the picture. It took our cat about 10 days to actually drink out of it, but once she tried it and got used to it, she liked it. It's vey easy to clean and runs quiet unless it gets too low on water, and then it sounds more like a little fountain. But most of the time, it makes almost zero noise. It does have a bright blue light on it to indicate that it's on, so be aware that it's VERY bright in the night. You may not want to put it in a room where someone is trying to sleep.

Pros- quiet, large capacity, easy to clean, cats love it and drink more water.Cons- even though I cleaned the pump and changed the filter regularly, the motor died within 90 days. One day it worked perfectly, and the next morning it was totally dead.

I got this for my young pup as she seems to be drawn more to moving water than still water. Getting her to drink still water has been a bit of a hassle, especially in the Summer, but this has gotten her interest. The setup is relatively simple as long as you set the interior pump correctly. I've had no leaks as of yet and this runs nearly silent; once you hear the water pumping harder, you'll know it's time to add more water, which is a great but subtle reminder.

Quieter than the old one, only time you hear it is when the water level is low and the water has a longer way to fall. Stays cleaner, I think because it's higher and the cats are not as tempted to stick their paws in or drop various toys and thing into the pool of water at ground level.

My one cat began having urinary issues fountain was recommened by my veternarian for him to drink more water. All three of my cats highly enjoy their water fountain they all began to drink from fountain. One cat loves to watch the movement of the water. I also enjoy the soft sound of the fountain and the blue glow because it is in my office where my cats hang out. Would highly recommend.

Owning commercial kennels I buy allot of pet products. I already have several fountains for dogs, but wanted a smaller version for my cats. I love this fountain, easy to assemble, clean, stainless water pan allows for plastic sensitivities in cats and the LED light, I first thought silly, is an amazing feature allows for easy water level check and provides small low light for night. Would recommend and buy again! Great value.
