110V 180W Sewing Machine Motor 10000 r/min for Sewing Machine with Foot Pedal Handwork Accessories

this sewing machine motor does work, and the pedal is constructed well enough. There are only 2 real speed choices with the pedal, it is not a gradient. But the biggest issue is this motor is not 180w, not 10000 rpm, and is absolutely not the amp pull that is advertised. It is very very weak. Probably not even powerful enough to turn the most modest sewing machine. I bought it to replace a tired old 150w 9000 rpm motor. The old tired motor is at least 4 times more powerful than this thing right out of the box. I was fully expecting the new one to be better, i would have been happy with it being similar. But it was orders of magnitude weaker.

I have a very old Singer machine and took it to be repaired. However, once I got it back, it started doing the same thing. I purchased the motor and it appears that the old motor was the problem. My machine is working fine and I no longer have to purchase a new machine. The motor came with everything needed to replace the motor.

Overall the motor seems fine. The foot pedal on the other hand leaves little to be desired. Its a stepped increase in motor speed instead of a gradual on. Inside the pedal there's brass contractors that increase the speed by a step once they come into contact as the pedal is pressed. I ended up using my old pedal because it uses a potentiometer style increase in speed, meaning it's like any other sewing machine pedal. Gradually increasing in speed as the pedal is pressed.

Motor quit working about 2 minutes after starting it. How to return it go elsewhere for good motor.
