One of the product pictures makes it look like the inner leg liner has a pocket (so a phone there would not be flopping around like it does with normal shorts pockets). There is no such pocket on the inner leg liner

I’ve bought several of these shorts. These are the ones that separated as soon as I put them on. Not sure what happened with quality controlUpdate: Balega customer service reached out and sent a new replacement pair of shorts that were perfect at no cost. Bravo

I like these shorts a lot; so much that I ordered three (3) more colors. My only complaint, which is why I didn't give them 5 stars is that out of the four (4) I purchased one (1) was noticeably tighter then the others. At first I thought maybe it was the draw string causing it but even with that completely removed from the equation the 1 pair even measured different. They all indicated the same size: 2XL. Maybe it was a fluke.I would still recommend these, not for just as workout shorts but for everyday use. They have pockets which is a real plus for me and you can wear them without additional underwear.

Great for leisure. Great for play. Decent for swimming.

I bought this because many women’s running shorts are too short and the compression layer rolls up (leading to chafing). They work very well during long distance runs and the pockets are great.

These are good shorts with good color options. I purchased black with yellow. I like them quite a bit and they fit better than other brands I've purchased. However, there are a few drawbacks that buyers should be aware of:1-Not Colorfast -- I tried these on after receiving them without laundering them first. They somehow became moist -- whether through water or use of a balm I was using on my leg, or both. When I undressed I found that the black color from the short had drifted to the inner yellow in large spots, and also to an expensive dress shirt I had put on after exercising. The dress shirt is ruined, with a large black splotch covering half of the lower area. This might have been fixed if I had laundered them first. I would have if the seller had given that instruction. I was pretty bummed about that!2- No phone pocket in the leg liner. I've seen so many similar shorts that I assumed this one had a phone pocket built in to the liner on one of the legs. Wrong. This would have been a deal killer if I had realized it when I made the purchase. The other pockets are large enough for a phone, but too loose and floppy to trust them.3- No compression. These are pretty shorts and comfortable, but this liner does not give any real compression.

Positive: These are pretty great shorts in terms of comfort, and feel like they'll last awhile. I'll definitely be buying more (a size larger - see below).Negatives: People have complained about the size of the pocket, but my Galaxy S6 fits just fine. But I still won't put my phone into it for running, bacause nothing keeps the pocket against your body, so my phone would just be slapping me in the behind the whole time. The pocket would be great for cash, but anything else is going to bounce annoyingly with every step.But the biggest issue is the waist size. The Medium says it fits 32.5"-34.5". My waist fluctuates from 32"-34", depending on my weight, so I ordered a Medium (despite normally wearing a large in pretty much everything). The waistband was terribly tight, to the point where I couldn't possibly have run in them without fear of puking from the waist constriction. Even just standing was uncomfortable. I immediately cut out the elastic (actually, it's sewn in pretty good so I basically made a couple of holes in it) and the shorts are now acceptable. The shorts tie so there's no need for elastic anyway.So I'll be buying a size LARGE when I get a couple more pairs. (BTW, if it helps, I'm 6', 180-pounds, 33" waist and 42" chest.)

Phone pocket makes these worth it. Shell material very light. Good for price

Habe die Hose inzwischen mehr als einmal, da ich mehrfach die Woche Sport mache.Die Hose sitzt gut, trägt sich angenehm und hält was sie verspricht. Scheiß wird zuverlässig abgeleitet und trocknet weg.Die Schlüsseltasche hinten ist praktisch, allerdings musste ich sie an einer der Hosen nachnähen, da der Schlüssel wohl die Nähte geschaffte hatte und rausgefallen ist. Da sollte man einen Blick drauf haben.Kann die Hose aber nur jedem empfehlen.Größe M passt mir gut, trage sonst 32 Bundweite.
