Gun Holster Black Steel Spring Clip with Hole/Hardware IWB OWB for Kydex, Leather Holster Making Sheaths

These are nicely sized, well finished and totally functional clips. Using two of these, one on either side of an IWB. Just the ticket if you want a good strong spring without resorting to a loop type clip - especially on a web belt or loop. However, the roll on the bottom face of the metal clip that snaps under the bottom of your belt has sharp edges; unless you are very careful with on/off you will put a nasty gouge in the face of a leather belt - I know; I've seen me do it a couple of times already. In a perfect world, these would be spooned at the periphery of the roll, but that would likely triple the price. Will probably go with the Kydex version next time just for this reason.I wish there was a second hole under the clip-on area to slip another Chicago Screw head into, so as to prevent the clip from rotating on a single pivot point. I'm going to have to drill one, and it's gonna to be a bear to deburr it under there.

Use these on galco v hawk and desantis mad Max holsters as I prefer the metal clips to slide over the belt, less bulk and trust them more than polymer. Fit and finish are great, and they come with hardware so that's a huge plus as well. Only gave 4 star durability as I have only used a couple sets for less than 6 months so far, but judging by everyday use, these are 100% reliable and durable.

I had bought a holster to go for my Sig with a laser it was a universal and it did not have a belt clip it had the straps to fit on the tactical vest so I seen these purchase them and then slipped through one set of them straps and then cut a hole in the other set of straps and they have a Chicago-style screw in there and I screwed him and then I touched my button up straps up underneath it and run it through button them on the bottom work perfect these were Lifesaver I can now used by tactical holster on my belt or my pants

as soon as i got these, i couldn't wait to put together an iwb holster! i'm a leathersmith by secondary trade, and these are just perfect for what i use them for. definitely repeat business when i run low on my supply! i'm sure that my customer is going to be quite happy with his holster i handmade for him!shown in the pictures is the custom handmade 1911 .45 IWB holster for a full size 1911 .45. i'm quite pleased out it turned out, especially with the spring clip i put in it!

Clips seem like nice quality--minimal thickness while strong and a nice matte black powder coating. The width, however, might be reduced a bit, though not a problem for my usage of them. I would recommend there be two more holes for height options. I recommend at least placing hole closer to bottom (edge) of clip, to allow for increased clearance of corners when clips rotate. Overall, I recommend these clips.

I run a small hobby holster business out of my home and the closest leather shop is over an hour away. I chose these clips to try because the fast shipping. I will definitely be buying again. These are tough clips and can certainly take a beating. I love the finish on them and they hold form. Don't spend the big money on other clips. Save some dough and get these babies. You will love them!

I should have paid attention to the size and adjustability aspect of the product. That said, the clips were delivered as advertised and all hardware was present. They seem to be quality clips and installed nicely on my MTAC that came with j-clips and I am lucky the length was in a comfortable position for a 4 o’clock draw position. Follow up was great!
