Very pretty, and as shown. Took me a while to figure out best way to affix books but once I did I found it very handy for reading while sitting in bed. Sometimes I place it on top of a bed pillow on my lap if print is small and want book closer. My suggested method: While squeezing the brass knobs at bottom of pillow, first loosen all four ribbons. Slip left cover of book (I mainly use for hardcovers or oversize trade paperbacks) all the way over to left, under wide vertical ribbons. Then slide book to right with cover under right vertical ribbon, including about half/three-quarters of unread pages. Tighten vertical ribbons using brass knobs. Bring angled ribbons up on left and tighten part way. Place top right pages under right angled ribbon and again tighten part way. You'll find the best tautness of these as you read...if too tight you can tear or crease bottom pages.This book cushion has helped me a lot as my arms become tired and hands cramp after reading a long time (I have chronic illness) and the cushion remedies those problems. It also has helped prevent neck and shoulder cramping. Definitely recommend and will give as gift. (I leave book in cushion when through reading for the night.)

Really like my BookBuddy and use it every night in bed. Much more comfortable to read the books now. A bit costly.

With my neck injury, keeping a book at eye level is important; however, it can be tiring for my arms which then leads to neck issues again. I'd tried using a regular pillow, but found it was difficult to keep the book from falling if I dosed off. The Bookbuddy holds the book open and at a level that is comfortable, and if I fall asleep it stays on my lap.

I had neck surgery not to long ago. I love to read and am not able to lower my head while reading in order not to cause complications. Needless to say l am over the moon with my pillow so l can enjoy reading again. Thank you to the person who invented and you to advertising. Very pleased with the product.

BookBuddy pillows are so helpful if you have neck or hand issues that make holding a book difficult. It is versatile, pretty, and will hold iPads, large books or smaller ones. I have used one for several years and got this one for my friend.

This is a great product. It's beautiful and functional. I have problems holding books at times but this has solved my problem. The ribbons keep the pages down. I love it, very well made!
