Bigger and more thorough than I anticipated. Scientific backgrounds and many reasons for anemia and ways to correct it.

Very informative. I found out I was severely anemic and wanted to gather as much info as possible.

I have had long-standing sleep problems, but this book turned out to have the answer: low iron. It was just a lucky try to see this listed on their cover and request my doctor to test my iron levels. Who would've known someone my age would respond immediately to iron supplements?

This book more clearly outlines just what tests you need to take to determine what is causing your anemia than any other source I have seen. An earlier edition was also the first reference I had ever seen to Proferrin, which has proven to be the best iron supplement (by far!!) that I have been able to find.
