Sole is Not Gum Rubber
The upper of these slippers is fine, a fairly generic sheepskin slipper and a really good pink colour which I loved. But I bought them primarily because they stated the sole was gum rubber - due to hypermobility I slip over easily and a lot, so a good grip on slippers is essential to prevent the more dangerous falls, these are *not* gum rubber they are a cheaper synthetic material with barely any grip on carpet and none on tile.

Excellent slipper for my feet!
Love these, my 2nd pair. I have suffered with plantar fasciitis, and more recently I was diagnosed with transfer metatarsalgia in my left foot. The thickness of the sole in this slipper is great, supports my feet brilliantly. Flat/thin slippers and shoes are no good for me anymore, so finding this slipper has made me very happy!

Be Pampered From You Head To Your...
I've been wearing these slippers for a few days before I wrote my review of them...They are really comfortable and the inner is made of super soft natural wool liners which are extremely comfy on the toes and heels which is a big plus...Also I suffer from Raynaud's which causes my toes to be icy cold and I've benefited already as these slippers are lovely and warm which has helped my condition no end...The finished result of these slippers are fantastic and the colour which I bought is a lovely deep pink so they look the bee's knees... I'd recommend these to anyone who likes to be pampered from the head to the toes... I definitely will buy some more ++++++

Theses slippers look good, and are lovely and wide, super for wide feet...
But they have a plastic edging strip which is tight and restrictive over my high in-stepped feet, to the point where they were cutting in and causing pain on the tops of both my feet. I had to cut it in several places to allow ease, which gave great relief as they then fit perfectly, but now they look a mess as the stitching has come undone and I have had to trim back the edging and the layers have separated, causing rollback of the lining layers as I insert my feet.Removing the strip has shown that while these are made of beautiful, genuine suede, they have a hidden lining of thin wool and inside that is what appears to be natural sheepskin... in my opinion this is not genuine sheepskin/wool (the white fluffy stuff) it is manmade in appearance and feel. All of this could be rectified by using a thin strip of leather, rather than plastic tape, to bind the free edges. This would allow it to give slightly and accommodate nonaverage feet; and would keep them looking lovely and smart for much longer. However I have only knocked off one star as in all other respects they are comfortable and effective. They have not overstretched since cutting the tape and have maintained a close fit so they still look great in that respect.

WOWZA! - could these be the perfect pair of slippers?
These are brighter in colour than expected, but not in the slightest bit disappointing. They fit perfectly - I'm a 5.5 and bought a size 6. The fleece lining is not what I'd call squishy or particularly cushioned but the heal is comfortable and makes the slippers cosy. I'm pleasantly surprised how good they feel despite having plantar fasciitis! This was something others spoke about and I was looking for slippers that would suit this issue. The design is lovely and simple without being boring and are finished to a high standard. These feel so good I almost went shopping in them by accident - I forgot I was wearing them because they feel much more like a pair of shoes - in a good way.

Scarlet slippers
A surprise to me here in Ireland that these slippers arrived so quickly. Also first impressions - they were very nicely packaged.I treated myself because I have just had another bout of gout and slippers are almost impossible to wear. The sheep's wool interior coaxed me a little, but now that I have received them and the gout has subsided I am most appreciating the soles, which may have some sort of support inside. They really do feel supportive in a gentle and cosy way.The underneath is of a durable type of rubber but it would not last long in our Atlantic Gulfstream weather so I shall not venture over the threshold with them.

Stylish and practical that are worth paying a bit more for
My biggest bug bear with slippers is how they quickly lose their shape, become floppy and trip me up. Plus it's hard to find a pair where practical and good-looking are both applicable characteristics. I decided to pay a bit more on pair slippers this time and I wasn't disappointed. These have a nice form sole with a cosy furry lining. Stitching on the suede upper looks sturdy and I love the vibrant colour. The sizing is spot on and I'm really happy with these.

Love my Foothugs. So comfortable and good price.
This is my second pair of Foothugs slippers. I suffer from Plantar Faciitis and arthritis in my feet. I had podiatrist made insoles for my shoes that are uncomfortable and like walking on wood. (Suitable shoes for the insoles to fit into about £60.) I don't go out a lot and own many pairs of memory foam slippers that are fine at first but lose support quickly. Foothugs have solid but comfortable soles so don't lose the shape or support. The inner fur has gone flat on my first pair but hasn't impaired comfort. Also wearing them all day I was surprised to find they are stain proof and a wipe with a damp cloth removed any marks. Great investment for the price. Much better than the very very expensive well known sheepskin slippers a gift from my daughter.
