Wes Products Comfort Economy

Excellent choice for our needs. I'm an occasional passenger on the back of our Grizzly 700. It is quick to bolt to the rear rack and easily removed when husband wants the quad for other purposes. First seat we tried (another brand) was lighter in weight, hard plastic, shook and rattled when the Grizzly was moving. Not a secure feeling for this passenger. This seat is rock solid and I feel like I'm actually on the Grizzly itself, not hanging on a rack. As an older, larger woman the cushioning on this seat is much appreciated. The seat area itself is wide and deep. The sides give a sense of protection. The handholds are easy to grip, provide some protection for hands, and allow arms to rest comfortably along the top of the sides. This seat sits higher and further back than our other one. We had to install taller foot pegs. My guess is it made about 3 inches of difference in being able to reach the foot pegs, possibly a little more. Also, this seat encroaches on the driver's seat more than the old one. Husband says it is okay but be aware that not everyone will like finding they can't sit all the way back on the driver's seat.As the passenger, I love it and am very happy with it. It also has decent storage. Only complaint about the storage area is how it secures. It uses very flimsy, stretch loops to hold the compartment closed. Also no way to lock it. Husband is thinking about how to modify the fasteners.Another observation: When it arrived, the packaging looked like it had been run over several times by an eighteen wheeler and then used as an elephant's play toy. Crunched, munched, holey, and re-taped a lot. Our expectations were gloomy. However with no internal protection aside from a plastic baglike cover, the seat was completely unmarred. If it survived unscathed from shipment I suspect we won't be doing anything to break it using it.

i just purchased the wes comfort economy and it was everything i was looking for. i mounted it on my 800 outlander for my 3yr. daughter to ride on. its perfect for us. when we creek ride the steam from the motor doesn't burn her legs, she has handles to hold on to, its so comfortable she fell asleep during our first ride with the new seat. don't have to worry about hauling it at interstate speeds. for the money it really is top notch. i've searched for 2 yrs before actually purchasing a luggage seat and i'm glad i got this one. the comfort line is bigger than the contour line and fits a big quad perfect. i'd recommend it to anyone. to say the least, i'm a big guy, 300+ and i fit in the seat just fine

Looks very sporty and feels durable. A little depressed because I thought I could make the center compartment into a cooler but it's only 2" deep. Still plenty of room to hold gear. The arm rests and back are high enough to be comfortable. It's defiantly going to make that long day at the ATV park more enjoyable.

i am very impressed with this seat and the speed at which it was delivered. The seat is very nice quality, very comfortable and was easy to install. I have paid more for other types of seats from dealerships and this seat is by far a much nicer option. We do lots of trail riding, usually 100 miles plus each trip and having the extra storage and a comfortable seat for the second rider is very important. I would recommend this seat to anyone!
