Decent gig bag for my lap steel.Saves me taking the heavy hard case.Shame there is no provision to be able to carry the 3 telescopic legs but not a major issue as I’m using an X stand during gigs which is faster to set up and break down afterwards

Nicely padded so will protect my lap steel. Generous proportions so i think most 6 or 8 string steels will fit.2 zip compartments for tone bar, leads and finger picks.I’d give 5 stars if there were a compartment for the legs - my lap steel has screw in legs.

Good looking and well constructed, loads of zip pockets, but a very tight fit for the revelation RLS Deluxe Lap Steel, I bought it for. A real struggle closing the zips. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew how tight a fit it would have been.

This was exactly what I was looking for-and very hard to find. A simple, compact, fairly sturdy gig bag for my 8 string lap steel. Not as easy as you would think to find a decent one--or the right size at all! Most are bigger or flimsier. I'm very, very happy with my purchase. As a professional musician my guess is from experience that this bag will last pretty well. I may buy another for my dulcitar which is roughly the same size and didn't come with a bag. A++ in my book. One note however: This bag fits a standard-size 6 or 8 string lap steel with a scale length of around 22". For scale lengths longer you may need a bigger bag. My 25" scale length lap steel won't fit this bag.
