Absolutely brilliant game, draw cards then bid for them using coins to try and get the cards you want. Plays very well.

Glad they brought out a multi-player version of this game (original was only for 2 players). However, the auction process in the game is wide of the original game-play and is not really needed in the multi-player version. A good game, which needs a version for more than 2 players, but this Rivals edition is not quite there.

The lost cities card game is an engrossing and wild two player game that is the definition of simplicity. Quick to teach, quick to play and great fun. Rivals adds a bidding system and simplifies the scoring for those who don't appreciate sums. The additions work well but it's the core mechanics of lost cities that still shine through the most.

I bought this because I liked the original 2-player The Lost Cities and was excited to see a 4-player version avaliable. So far, I've only played this with 2 people and while it's quite different than the original, found it to be very enjoyable. The game is at least 50% different (really only the expedition element remains) so don't expect them to be the same. We had a good time, will play it again and look forward to playing it with friends!

Got it for like 15+tax on prime day, it came fast and in top condition. The game itself is FANTASTIC as it's like Lost Cities plus Ra or a bidding mechanic to win cards to build your expeditions. Bid too much or too often and you have no money so your opponents can get cards for 1$. Bid too little and your money grows but your expeditions/fields/points may suffer. Very easy to learn (3 page rulebook), highly enjoyable, there's advanced play for keeners/gamers, 2-4 players; easy to recommend!

Es un juego bastante entretenido, esta versión es para hasta 4 jugadores. Me gusta más esta versión que la de dos jugadores. La temática es de explorar caminos y rutas y ganar prestigio. La mecánica es de gestión de cartas y recursos, pero es una mecánica bastante original y ágil. Ganas más npuntos dependiendo de cuantas cartas de cada color acumules y cuántos comodines. Lo jugue con mi papá y mi hija y les gustó mucho. No es dependiente del idioma a excepción de las reglas que vienen en inglés. Es rápido y entretenido.
