Purpose of use: The Wero Swiss Elasticolor is an ideal bandage of durable elasticity with a short stretch for fixation-, support- and relief dressings as well as compression dressings in first aid and post-treatments. This elastic bandage provides strong support to an injured structure, compression to minimize swelling and decreases range of motion. It is ideal for fixing wound dressings and for smaller injuries. The elastic bandage is not adhesive and can also be applied to pets, does not stick to fur or skin. Application: The Wero Swiss Elasticolor can be applied to all kind of body parts, such as shoulder, chest, upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand and fingers, back, hip, thigh, knee, lower leg, ankle or foot. Wrap distal to proximal in order to push the swelling to the heart. Overlap bandage about ½ way each turn. Apply bandage with an even pressure and tension. Bandaged body part must be flexed when wrapped to prevent bandage from being too tight. Check circulation (cool extremities, blue fingers indicate that bandage is too tight). The elastic bandage can be washed and reused. Even after several applications the bandage keeps its elasticity. Bandage should be washed by hand and dried on a flat surface, no ironing is required.
