Rebranded to insignificant…
I have been a user of this particular flavour from its inception, thus, in the past when Mighty Leaf reformulated this particular flavour, as users we were outraged. This outrage translated into their reverting to the original formula. My contact at PEET’s denied reformulation and repackaging, but admitted that this was ‘rebranded’, I am unclear on their definition of rebranded as the proof is in the packaging and flavour, perhaps to PEET’s rebranded does not translate into the underscored changes. After carefully researching other factors such as storing, I can attest complete compliance. We use bottled water, exercising proper sanitising when cleaning the filter with a mild detergent. The exact same methods I applied with the previous variation of the Organic African Nectar. By process of elimination all factors point to a major change in formula since I consume copious amounts of this tea. This item was repackaged and reformulated with two key ingredients missing from the updated version, that was present in the older tea.I consume my tea without artifice and this rebranded version is bereft of flavour. In my humble opinion, it is coloured water. Both the packaging and the taste have been sacrificed in the ‘rebranding’ process. This was the manufacturer’s response:“What you are seeing is our new branding. The artwork and some of the copy has changed. It’s a refresh we have done to the entire Mighty Leaf Tea line. The packaging itself has not changed and the blends have not changed. We appreciate your discerning taste. There may be differences, though small, from lot to lot. This is natural and to be expected in agricultural products. But the ingredients and their sources remain the same. The materials and facilities they are packaged in are unchanged. We evaluate every lot multiple times prior to packing. As said previously, flavoring and quality may be compromised by storage conditions”.Peet's assured me that the formulation for each tea variety has not changed and that the tea has been received very recently (4-6 weeks) and stored in a constant 65 degree temperature. There are no factors that would alter flavor. Their recommendations is as follows:1) Proper Minerals TDS for optimum flavour2) If municipal, a proper filter that removes chemical additives such as chlorine from the drinking water; If well, it should be tested to ensure proper filtration.3) Establishing the most recent filter change4) The type of soap/detergent used to clean tea-ware

My favorite tea
This is such a complex. It's a bit like a combo of earl grey and some exotic camomile tea with vanilla. It's hard to explain, but it's one of the only teas if you make some ice tea from it, you might not even need sugar (I still do, but it's that flavorful). It can some times stink when you smell it out of the packet, but once in water is great. The tea is VERY strong. You can easily steep it for only maybe 1-2 minutes and it's already a strong cup of tea. And you can re-use the bag at least one more time, and I find easily 2 times after the first use. The tea is that strong and flavorful!Anyway, best tea ever. My favorite. Worth a try if youre a tea lover.

Rich in flavor and aroma.
Excellent tea. I prefer it for breakfast; the price is reasonable and I wouldn’t compromise its quality.

think it is a bit of an acquired taste...my naturopath recommended it to me.

My Favorite!
This tea is good hot or iced. I usually drink it hot but occasionally when I have guests for lunch, I’ll serve it with an orange slice. Everyone loves it and wants to know what it is. So refreshing on a hot Texas summer day!!!
