The chip technology used in the green card allows the card to be read from a distance by an authorized reader mounted alongside the traffic lane; however it is not protected from unauthorized scans. Green card bearers can be tracked by this technology and us government recommends using a protective sleeve that will prevent the card from being read while inside it.

I've given away dozens of the Medicare sleeves, and I thought I'd check this out for friends. Sleeves are very useful to protect such cards, which tend to take a beating in purses and wallets. This product gives good protection to green cards to try to keep them in good shape. MOST highly recommended!

weak, badly sized.
This is a good idea. Only...Most new wallets have RFID blocking, so unless you have an older wallet, you won't need that part.It is too big, there is about 3/4 of a centimeter gap between the card and the edge of the holder. This means it is very easy to crease or rip this.?The card used to make this is easy to crease and tear.Besides all that, I Cannot fault this!
