I bought two for my electric wheelchair as luggage holders on my footplate hangers. I found dedicated ones, but they were priced at over 70 quid.I found these, and they work just as well. I can position them as far in or out as I need them. They are very sturdy and hold my handbag very well. I would, however, recommend using a carabiner to secure the bag to your chair.I would recommend these to any wheelchair user looking to do the same. I tried adding a picture to show them, but it wouldn't let me post with one.

How did I get to 40+ and not get this? I use an old Claude Butler bike and realised it would be great if I could get a kickstand like you saw on bikes in the eighties.Bought this and problem solved.Easy enough to install and has ad adjustable length - just work out if you want it on the right or the left (I fit on the right hand side same side as the hub as I prefer to use my right foot to open the kickstand).It works well - even on rough ground as long as it somewhat stable it keeps the bike standing.My bike is kept outdoors although covered - and the kickstand has no issues (it's mainly plastic with a metal section I assume stainless steel or aluminium) so should be quite corrosion resistant.

I was a bit hesitant to buy a kickstand online, but this one has exceeded my expectations. It's sturdy, easy to install, and holds my 26" Carrera Vengeance E Mens Electric Mountain Bike perfectly. Easily set up and was marginally pleased at first -- the adjustable part did not secure very nicely and the adjustable length was fairly narrow, meaning my son's "young adult" size bike was nearly falling over because I could not make it short enough. Still, it was serviceable enough for him to use and for me not to return it straight away. After about 5 weeks (basically when the return window expired), my son came home and it was freely sliding through the adjustable length. checked it and the retaining plate was only made of weak aluminium and the screw had stripped through, making it very short indeed and useless as a chocolate teapot.

This is ok and easy to install, but it is no that sturdy. If you are just hoping to prop your bike up then it’ll be fine, but if you have any weight (eg a pannier) then it is likely that the bike will fall over. Priced well, so factor that in.

Easy to fit. My bike standing tall. Great price. Recommended!I chose this stand as there was a video for fitting instructions. In the end it was pretty easy!I got it to replace a 'double leg' stand I previously bought. That came loose as was fitted in the centre of the bike between the pedals. It might have been design fault or speed bumps. This fits on the side of the bike and goes back full 90 degrees and has been fine and strong.

It looks excellent, very well made and packaged.
