Dear Madison Braids,Cute product & I am going to enjoy wearing it. I love the adjustable band.Product could be improved:1) you need to make a thinner braid product. it is too thick and heavy for a lot of people. like half the amount of hair. especially for kids.2) you need to take photos of the products with studio lights so that the colors are more accurate. you just can't tell from your photos what the hair colors are. i ordered 3 before i got a match!3) the ribbon part on the blond braid is black and really stands out - should better match the blond braid. the black/brown ribbon is fine on the black/brown braids.Sincerely, A customer in Chicago

I love this braid, it makes my lazy hair days so easy. It did take a bit of a learning curve, because the first few times I wore it, it slid a lot. I began doing criss-cross bobby pins tucked on either side and a low pony tail and that keeps it pretty secure. I get constant compliments on my hair when I wear this. I was worried about the color because I couldn't find any real life photos anywhere of the black, which is my only real reason for writing this review. My hair is dyed black and this is very very slightly lighter than my hair. Nobody else can notice it and in photos it almost looks slightly darker, but the color is extremely close. It's so realistic looking and I love how thick it is! I could never get this thick of a braid with my own hair.

I love this headband! Today someone asked me “how I did my hair like that” and asked me to show her how to do it. I lifted theba k of my hair and showed her that it was a headband! I’m amazed at how lovely the salt ‘n pepper color looks with my old lady hair!

I’m one who doesn’t care about cost as long as I get what I’ve paid for. I didn’t with the 3 products I have purchased from Madison Braids. I did not purchase these together but gave Madison Braids the benefit of the doubt and kept trying only to repeatedly receive an inconsistent product of consistently poor quality.1. Top Knot: $28-Cheaply made. Wefts sewn onto craft store elastic, tied at ends. Ive seen better at the flea market.-Black elastic on Dark Blonde highlighted hair? No visible black elastic in their pic/description?-Began falling apart after ONE use. Stitching unraveled, wefts completely fell away from elastic.2. Halo: $38 - Began falling apart after ONE use. Fabric tape at ends not wrapped neatly/in line and started peeling off with hair then popping out.3. LuLu: $35 -Haven’t worn this yet because the elastic band is yellow (maybe for light blondes), not the nude/taupe of the end pieces shown in their pic/description and on the very same braid and/or the other braid above in very same hair color (Highlighted). The yellow does not blend at all with the colors in the hair as the nude/taupe does. Again, poor attention to quality.If I order several braids in the same exact color, I’d expect the products received to be the same.If I pay top quality prices for a top quality product, I expect to receive that.These products are a huge disappointment. The price lends the impression that these are somehow better than similar and far less expensive products that have been available for some time online and for as long as I can remember in local beauty supply stores.Buy those instead. If you pay $10 for something that you know you’ll only get a few uses out of, you’re ok with it. When you pay $40 for something that's advertised as being “Worn every day!” you expect a higher quality product.Madison Braids didn’t re-invent the hairpiece wheel, they just convinced us they did with their ample FaceBook ads.

Great product! The hair is very real looking and can be pulled to achieve a more messy look than the slick straight braid they send you. I ordered dark brown and it works well with my hair! Many people have given compliments and asked if it was my real hair. Recommended!

Difficult the adjust for smaller heads. Also, the braid is super super thick and looks ridiculous if you have fine hair. I would love to see a thin, petite version but I had to return it. I did get a good laugh at least.

I really loved this item. I wore it in a wedding and it was exactly what I was looking for. I have jet black hair an it was a perfect shade of black to blend it. Unfortunately I was only able to wear it once and then it broke. For me, they cost too much to be a one time wear item so a step up in quality would be great. The braid itself was fine- it was at the point where the braid and the headband are glued that the break occurred. It is adjustable as well and that is nice!

I love this thing and plan on buying one for all my sisters! As a busy mom, I am constantly on the go and do not have much time to do my own hair. I usually throw it up in a bun or pony tail and now that I have this headband, it really make me look like I spent some time on it. I get compliments on it whenever I wear it. :)
