It functions as indicated but not as comfortable as I hoped it would be. Maybe its my specific laptop, I can't say if it will be better for someone else or not. We used it briefly in the beginning but not so much anymore.

When I took this out its box my heart sank when I was how narrow it is. This is supposed to work with a 17" laptop? But it does! It's very sturdy with no wobble. rubber pads keep the laptop from shifting. The narrow size also lets it nicely double as a tablet stand. It's also very compact when closed.My only complaint is that its lowest setting is angled a little high. So I would recommend this stand more if you want to raise the screen height and use a separate keyboard. The back legs extend a fair bit back, which add stability, but might be a problem if your work surface isn't very deep. Fully expanded, the stand has a footprint of 6.5" wide x 13" deep.

Surprisingly sturdy and stable. At first I didn't realize I could lock the height/width and was confused when I set my laptop on that it would spread until lowest height; however after I got that figured out it worked like a charm.Can hold up my 15.6" Acer Aspire VX (opened) and can close/open lid while laptop is mounted on the angle with no shifting or holding down the base.

Les butoirs en bas qui retiennent le pc, ne sont pas assez haut. Pc 17 pouces avec chanfrein tombe! Il me sert de support document.
