Ok. I confess that I thought that this mat was overpriced but I got it because it matched the nursery theme. It turned out better than expected... we have a cheaper foam mat in our living room but we had to get a rug to put on it because our son refused to stay on the tummy or roll on it. However, on this one he stays on his tummy, rolls and crawls. I honestly can't tell the difference in consistency but our baby does so most of the crawling practice happens on this mat (our son is almost 6 months)... I also like the neutral colors. It seems pretty resistant (but not against cats heh). I give it 4 instead of 5 just because of price.

I ordered this for our first grandson as our family room floor is so hard and I worried about him bumping his head. I searched for the floor tiles that I thought would be best for him and decided on SoftTiles. I have to be honest, they are better than I expected! They provide better cushioning and traction especially for a baby who is not yet crawling, but trying very hard to do so. There is no smell, I even put them up to my nose. I love these and would recommend them to any friend or family with a new baby.

Soft tiles was not the name they should have gone with. I will say was very easy to install and the pattern matched exactly what we have bought from another company while decorating my son's Room. I would like an increase on quality moving forward. I guess it is a cool feature that you can pull the animals out suffer yet it just causes a non even Plane at all times

The edges are made of multiple smaller peice that are easily detached and do not lay flat. The toddler who sits on this mat is more than capable of removing the edges, that then become chew toys and potential choking hazards.The mat is nice, but I don't feel like it's very safe.

This is a fairly nice mat, that gets the job done. The part that is hard to deal with is the smell. It has this musty smell that doesn’t ever really go away. I clean the mat all the time, and the smell seems like it’s gone, but when I’m on the mat playing with my kid then the smell is strong.

We have all hardwood floors at cabin, was a great place for our precious granddaughter to play! She loved the animals and the texture side really helps with pushing off. Will use for her play area as she gets older as well. Easy to assemble and clean. NOTE: The animals are cut outs, not printed on surface...so they can pop out!

Super cushioned, adorable exactly as pictured and a very decent size for any room. The little animals pop out and the borders taper down so there’s no edge! I love this so much I may buy another for the other play room.

This is a fantastic product, they are sturdy and offer a lot of cushion for my active baby. The cost kept me from buying them sooner, but I am very happy that I chose these in the end.
