Range and response issues
Update: I have done further testing on mounting the sensor facing out and it has made the sensor response time and motion sensing much better. I should have known better. I have updating my rating to reflect this.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The first order contained a bad sensor (the switch never opened to turn off power). This was replaced with another pair of sensors in a somewhat timely manner. No issues here, acceptable response from the seller.I am using the sensor for cabinet lighting and I have mounted it both the horizontal (sensor facing down) and vertical positions (sensor facing outwards). The response distance is not as indicated on the product page (5-8 meters). In addition, the response time is very slow; I have run into the room and wave my hand directly in front of the sensor for at least second or 2 before the sensor identifies motion. The product descriptions is as follows.【Wide Application】: You can use this sensor in different occasions like entryway lighting, cabinet lighting, gun safe lighting, pantry lighting, under the bed rails lighting.【Delay Time Adjustable】: 1-10 min(adjustable). Induction distance: 5 ~ 8M【Motion Activated】: Sensor function triggered by motion, you can use this small motion sensor switch to control lighting like Led strip lighting.【Warm Tips】:Users can install the human body sensors in the appropriate environment according to actual needs.【What you get】2PCS DC 12V/24V Body Infrared PIR Motion Sensor SwitchI have contacted the seller about this and below are the responses."Thank you very much for your reply telling me the problem you encountered. The theoretical value of our sensor is 5-8 meters under normal temperature, but the actual range of induction will be lower with the temperature decreasing or obstacle blocking. The theoretical detection range of the sensor switch at room temperature can be referred to the attached figure below."Temperature is not an issue. I live in Florida and the climate is quite warm here."The corresponding time of the sensor is set by the manufacturer. We have not tested it, but the corresponding time changes with the temperature change. The low temperature will affect the effect."There is not a low temperature situation here."The response speed of the sensor is difficult to calculate. Because the sensor has detected movement, the switch is working immediately. I don't know where you are actually installed. If it is used with the light strip, I don't think it is necessary to know the response speed so accurately. If you really need to know the response speed of the sensor, I can try to help you to ask the manufacturer."Either way I am going to work with what I have been supplied here. Not great but acceptable for now until I find a better solution.

No sensitivity adjustment
I bought these sensors to trigger my hot water recirculation pump. I have them wired to a custom PLC control setup. I installed these sensors underneath my kitchen and bathroom sink toe kicks. I wanted a way to have my recirculation pump run when I needed it and not waste energy when I don't need hot water. My biggest complaint is that the sensitivity can not be adjusted. They seem to be very sensitive, they will definitely pickup movement across a room if the sensor is pointed out. I have had them installed for a couple months and I just replaced one because it seemed to trigger without any noticeable movement. I am an industrial electrician and an electronics hobbyist so I didn't have any trouble with wiring these. I do agree with other reviews though that the instructions are a little poor and leave out some information. As others have said these do not have a relay contact output it is a solid state output. The output is also a sinking output meaning the positive of the output connector always has supply voltage on it and that the negative of the output connector is what is switched. Overall for the price of these sensors I am pretty happy with their performance.

Works good.
The first time I wired it I guess I didn't have the wire in there enough. I wired it to 12v power supply and now I have led lights that pop on in my closet then I open the door. Very nice. I would buy again. The little screws that hold the wire in moves a tab that compresses the wire in the frame of this unit. Take a second to see what way the screw is moving before you get too excited. I turned the screw the wrong way and it was loosening not tightening. Of course 50/50 chance and I got it wrong. All in all it was a 2 minute install. Used wood screws to where i needed it. Nice!

Output wiring is not well defined in the listing, that I've seen.
For anyone that requires this information in the future.... I purchased these and opened the product to expose the inside. First off, the two positive terminals are bonded--meaning, the negative is switched on the output. Also, there is no contact relay. There are two large NPN transistors directly to the left of the wiring block. I'm sure one of them is purposed for switching the output. If you require dry contacts, you'll have to hang a 12VDC (or whatever your supply voltage is going to be in the range of 12V to 24V) relay on the output and go dry contact from there.

Easy to install
Easy to install, would have been nice if it was smaller.

Small little guy
Great for my security alarm i constructed, i like that its small and has terminal screws on it......Feb 2020 and still works perfectly but i would like to mention that these are very sensitive to motion including itself, what i mean is that when i open my overhead garage door the vibration of the motor and rollers on track set it off w/o there being motion in garage. This is also why if you put it in lets say a glove and shake it around it will be triggered, that is the only con i have with the sensor.

Failed within a week
12v in; connects to a relay to switch on leds. The actual load on the sensor is bill. Let's started randomly dimming so I investigated and found the PIR to be super warm. The pictures show the failure areas.

solid construction and reliable motion detection
I like the solid construction all around and very reliable motion detection. They turn on right away. The only fault I can find is the "stay-on" time ranges aren't exactly 1 to 10 minutes, but they're close enough for me and probably most users, so they still get five stars. One of my units has a "minutes:seconds" range from 0:21 to 7:55 and the other from 0:22 to 9:18. All of those timespans are repeatable per unit to about 5%.
