Amazon Essentials Men's Regular-Fit Short-Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirt, Pack of 2

Update 7/5/22: Upon further washing and wearing, softness has improved considerably. Very comfortable and entirely satisfactory!---------------------------------------------------I have these T shirts in both large and extra large---dark green. I am female, 5'2", and like to wear men's T shirts around the house. These Amazon Essentials Men's Regular Fit T shirts are adequate and acceptable, but not all I was hoping for. I like a bit closer--but not tight--fit, so maybe I should have tried the slim fit version. The medium size in regular fit would be too small for me, but the large size, and even more the extra large, bags under my arms and sides, with a bit too much fabric for my taste.They are nice and long on me, which I like. I also really like that they have printing on the inside back neck, instead of an annoying, scratchy label.I wanted a very soft T shirt, like most of my others. After one machine wash and dry, these were still what I would describe as more crisp than soft--although not too uncomfortably so. This might improve upon repeated wear and launderings. The fabric is medium weight, neither very heavy nor very thin. The shirts shrank just a little bit after washing, not too much.I would also prefer an army or olive green color. The dark green, which is a kind of forest or pine green, was the closest thing to that, but not my favorite. It did not fade in the wash--so far. The construction seems good and not flimsy, as I have come to expect of Amazon Essentials. I have many items of the Amazon brand and will almost always choose it if I can. They generally are of decent quality at a fair price.I kept these T shirts and they are perfectly fine, if not completely fitting my particular criteria. I expect they will hold up for a long time and give excellent value for the money.

Based on the Amazon reviews, I went up one size when I purchased these T-shirts, and I'm very happy with them as a result. Several folks had complained that they ran short in the torso. I hate that, so I ordered the next size up, and I'm so happy with them. They're nice and cottony thick, really comfortable, and they fit really well even after throwing them in the dryer a couple of times (I usually hang my clothes up to dry, but they got missed when my son combined his laundry with mine, and they ended up in the dryer). They are a really good deal for the money. I couldn't be happier with them! (Always love getting a good deal!)

I usually buy white tshirts by Jockey for my husband as undershirts for his dress clothing, which he wears 5 days a week to work. Needless to say, we've used many brands over the years. I decided to try these this time I purchased his white tees based on the reviews and the price. I did go one size up from his usual size (Large) to an XLarge based on a few reviews regarding sizing. They fit perfectly. Not too big anywhere. They're not super tight around the neck like some under shirts can be, which drives my husband nuts. They are very soft right out of the packaging and haven't lost that softness with multiple times through the washer and dryer. I don't use fabric softener. I use wool balls as a natural fabric softener. So no chemical is being used to keep them soft. That's a plus for me because it means it's quality fabric.I actually purchased 3 white tshirts by Jockey at the same time I purchased these. I washed them all. Dried them all. Folded them all mixed together and placed them in a stack. I could see the difference. These are a bit thinner than the Jockeys. They aren't quite as white as Jockey. The sizing was nearly exactly the same as a Jockey Large. I wanted to see if my husband noticed a difference. He didn't!I've had these a few weeks now. They launder just fine. If there has been shrinkage it's been minimal and not noticeable. They still look brand new. Of course, in time I know they will wear out. All under shirts do when they are used as frequently as my husband must wear them. However, I'm pleased with them. My husband hasn't complained about them and trust me he WOULD complain if the shirts didn't feel right or fit correctly.I do think Jockey is a better quality overall, but I would buy these again. I do think they will break down sooner than the Jockey tees due to the thin material they're made of and the fact that these tshirts are worn, waged and dried A LOT. However, I would still recommend them. They are good quality and will last someone else a long time if they aren't been worn almost daily. This is a great deal for two quality white tshirts.**I would consider sizing up one size.**

Amazon Essentials has another winner. This brand has yet to disappoint me. From shirts to sweaters it is all top notch.I am 6'-3" at 240 lbs., just a little bit thick in the middle but overall average build. I ordered XL, my usual size, in Regular Fit.I am very pleased with these shirts. After several washings, warm water, tumble dry normal, there is very little shrinkage if any. They fit loose enough so they don't cling or hug my body like other shirts. The neck line is relaxed, not loose. The sleeves are about mid bicep. The length is great, they stay tucked in when bending over.The material is better than your average thin material. About Carhartt t-shirt material. Which means they are durable.Nice solid construction with a no tag label that is printed well and may take quite awhile to fade away.I originally ordered two grey and like them so much that I ordered just about every color so as to replace my other Hanes and FTL t-shirts.
