These are nice cushions for the end of your rods, and very cheap,, but what type of rod do you need to put cushion on? A big heavy rod for big fish, and these don't fit those rods. They only fit the small diameter rods that you don't need a rod cushion for. Catch 22

Use these on rod butts when I hook up on big king salmon. Makes fighting the fish more fun since the rod butt isn’t digging into ur beer gut!
