12 Gauge Clear Vinyl, Fabric by the Yard

I wanted to make a clear cover for my KitchenAid stand mixer, and I needed it to be thick enough to hold its shape, but not so thick that I would be unable to sew it on my sewing machine. I have no idea what gauge it needed to be, so I read the reviews, and someone said they used it for something (can’t remember what!) that led me to believe this would most likely work for me. So I took a chance, and ordered the minimum 2 yards. I’m happy to report that this 12 gauge vinyl is absolutely perfect for what I needed! It’s durable and arrived in excellent condition; no tears, no holes of any kind. My good old Singer sewing machine handled it without any problems (I sewed seam binding/biased tape around all the edges), and my cover turned out exactly how I was hoping it would! The only thing that I have to add is that it comes on a roll that is a few inches shorter than me; I’m 5’4”! I’m grateful that it comes the way it did because that meant it had zero wrinkles or creases, but it did kind of throw me off!! But. no worries; I just propped it into the corner of my craft room behind the door. Problem solved! Of course, now I have a whole bunch of it…….anyone need a cover for their KitchenAid??!! I attached a picture if you’re curious how it turned out!EDIT: I ordered this again and am very upset that it came folded up rather than on a roll, like it did previously. Folding puts creases in vinyl which are very difficult if not impossible to remove. Plus. The lower corner of the crappy envelope they sent it in got scraped in transit, and now there's a hole in the vinyl. I will trying applying heat and hopefully the creases will smooth out, but I shouldn't have to do that. I ordered this because I thought it would again be sent on a roll.

Purchased for a 109” long table to protect tablecloth. Heavy duty and weighty so it doesn’t slide around. Easy to trim as there is a removable paper guide on the backside with cutting lines printed on it. I would order this item again.

We used it to cover screen on our porch. Was just what we were looking for, we can still see outside to watch the birds. The only problem with it was that they shorted us. I ordered 4 yards and it was short 7 inches so it kind of messed up how we planned to use it.We figured it out but my husband wasn't very happy.

Nice weight. Not much to say: It's a heavy-weight, clear vinyl. I have been very pleased with it. I use a longer stitch to sew it and a new, sharp needle.

I was looking for a thinner vinyl for sewing a project . I'll try it and it's possible it will work. It was a good price for the amount.

I buy this item frequently to use underneath my birdcages to protect the floor, using the rebuy feature. It is sturdy, and holds up well to cleaning till I replace it.It is typically shipped in a sturdy tube. The recent delivery came folded up in a plastic "sleeve." It did not appear to be the same size I always get. I was dissatisfied with the packaging as it folded the plastic and it did not easily lie flat. I was also not happy that I received less square footage. This was NOT a re-purchase, but it was the same price. I'm thinking about looking at another seller next month. :(

I work in a very busy office and I need a lot of information at my fingertips. I usually post my info on my bulletin board, however, with covid cleaning, I can't leave plain paper around. I use this as a protector on my desk. All my info is underneath this sheer yet thick vinyl and the custodians can wipe it clean each night, while leaving my info in place for viewing each day. This has worked out better than I had envisioned, and it was a very affordable solution.
