Your mother-inlaw knows you better than you do!
Kind of a cliche plot line but it is very well written and at every turn we are drawn in further. Sara Desmarais really understands the sissy mind and the tension one experiences between following that destiny and supposed societal norms/expectations. I lover her writing!

Its not that this story is not fun, it is in away
So far its predictable, and can only see three or four conclusions after having read many other works by Ann. Its not that this story is not fun, it is in away. I feel sorry for Chris, he wants to be polite, considerate, understanding, an equal, and a help mate. What more could Catherine ask for? I know a great domineering macho provider as her mother wishes. But Catherine doesn't need that does she? I guess we'll have to find out she wants. Because that's what she is going to get, despite Mother. Most of the time Ann's stories end up with the best ending for all. But then there are one or two that have a twist and make you ask was there any real love in the story. I hope this one does.

Why did she marry him?
In the end we're left wondering. So Chris isn't an alpha male that doesn't make him a wimp just a kind and loving man not prepared for a woman who has had years to learn to manipulate men. With no help from his wife (the apple didn't fall far from the tree) it's no wonder he's in this untenable position and I am sure it will get worse in part 2. Everybody's buttons get pushed including the reader. Not as imaginative as Feminizing his Fiance. At this point I would choose the latter.

A very interesting situation
Christopher isn't the man Sharon wants married to Catherine so she decides to feminize him and is doing a good job as this story ends, we'll need to wait for the sequel.
