Strips work great. My old strips were expired and misreading the pH. New strips solved this issue.

I have used the AquaChek Test Strips with the AquaCheck monitor devise for about 8 years and find the unit accurate based on the clearness of the pool water based on the AquaCheck readings. The unit is well worth the $$ as long as you take care of the unit and store without the batteries during the winter months. The test strips are competitively priced Amazon and arrive in 1 or 2 days for Prime customers. The strips and unit are not always sold or supplies on-hand at the local pool dealers or retail, but are always available on Amazon. If you want an easy to use accurate pool chemical tester, this one is recommended.

These strips go with the same brand reader. Buying these strips might be a bit more costly, but it makes your life so much easier! You insert it into the reader and turn it on. Take your sample and the reader will tell you if it's in range or what's needed. You can't interchange the test strips, so you do need to buy this kind, but it's well worth it for people like me who are intimidated by all the chemicals and testing that's needed.

I've been using these test strips for quick checks for years and have had ZERO issues with them. I use them in my pool and hot tub. I do use a digital tool to read the strips. I use a much more detailed testing system IF I have any issues. for daily quick checks.. These work fine for me. NOTE: Expiration date is only about 6 months after you get them. So buy accordingly .

Takes the guess work out of testing. I can show the color test strip to three different people and get three different answers. The only thing is you MUST take the water inside, out of the sun to test. It is an investment because you need the reader, but so is your pool. I test every week. Once the pool is where it needs to be that is it. Highly recommend this to anyone that wants to properly maintain their pool.

I have the AquaChek TruTest meter and these strips are essential for it. The meter works so well for me and is so accurate. I use it every few days and adjust the chemicals right away based on the reading I get. I wish the test strips were cheaper though since they cost more then double of regular test strips.

Chlorine seems to be fairly consistent, but the ph and alkalinity are all over the place. Example I tested for ph and it read 8.0 and 5 minutes later another strip read 6.9!!!!! Same inconsistency with alkalinity.

I buy these every year because they are accurate and cost less then my local pool place. They are easy to use and I never run out before the season is over. I've never had a problem with purchase and they always arrive in time for the pool seasson. I've never received expired stripes and prefer the digital reader over the others.
