Soothing and smooth for every laser pass
Bought this for laser hair removal treatments at home using a diode device. What I like• Instantly cools the skin and reduces the burning feeling• Spreads smoothly and doesn't get sticky or runny• Makes the laser glide more easily, improving comfort and coverageWhat could be better• Bottle size is small for full body treatments• Cap design could be easier to open with slippery handsBottom line: Works great for at-home laser hair removal sessions. Perfect for anyone using IPL or diode devices, but look at larger bottles if treating large areas.

Works Well for Cheap
The gel seems to work well for a fraction of the price of the gel that came with my facial micro current device. I highly doubt it actually contains the skincare ingredients it claims to, but it doesn’t irritate my skin and the current seems to travel well through the gel. I always make sure to wash it off afterward. A large tube for a good price. It does dry fairly quickly, but I also have dry skin that sucks up anything I put on it, so I just apply to one side of my face at a time as I work my way across and around.

If your IPL uses a sensor, you're better off using ice before the flash.
A few things about this gel. First the good:1. If you put it in the fridge, it gets noticeably cold and feels great on the skin.2. There's a lot more product than you expect. I thought this would be ointment sized, but it's shampoo bottle sized. Now the bad:1) I use a Braun IPL Silk Expert 5. It uses sensors to prevent you from flashing without skin contact and blinding someone. This gel makes it harder for the sensors to notice your skin, so it takes longer for you to flash one area. This alone kinda defeats the purpose, since you're expecting the gel to cool the area first before you flash, but you can't flash if the sensors are blocked.2) It kinda gets warm too quickly outside of the fridge before I finish a session of face+arms; so that's a bust.3) The ingredients are kinda...suspicious? The list says something like "good skin ingredients" at the end, when a normal ingredients list just lists everything objectively. All in all, I just got an ice pack to use before flashing the skin. It cools and slightly numbs the area, and its easier than dealing with the sticky wet mess. I use this after the flashes, but it's not really necessary.

It works
I have an at home lazer hair removal.I use it for hair removal, bad acne sometimes, and hair bumps and the lazer works wonders. But today I used the gel before using the lazer. The lazer usually gwt quiet warm and today I hardly noticed because I put a thin layer of the gel on first. I liked it quiet a bit. I was able to do my lazer hair removal for a longer amount of time and in my more sensitive areas without irritation. I honestly enjoyed the experience and was able to watch most of a movie before feeling the need to stop.
