There are a variety of alternate hexes for Catan. I buy sticky labels, and then print them out, stick them onto these hex's. So far I've made a few alternate kits, great for presents. Note that if you are rolling your own hexes you have two sides with these - you don't have to make the second side blue like the standard hexes that come with sea farers. FOG variant: You can use them as they are for 'fog'. Idea is that when you explore and reach 'fog', remove the hex to see if there is sea or land. Some variants give you the resource when you discover land. (Intended for ships.)

perfect for what I needed

We used these as the guest book at our wedding and they worked great! They come in sheets that you pop the pieces out of (so they are not damaged at all in shipping) and they are the same shape and size as the pieces from Catan! We had everyone write with sharpie and it held nicely and did not smudge. they are good quality so I was not worried about them being ruined if it rained or if someone spilled a drink. Thank you!

i bought some pdf rules & tile pictures for some custom catan scenarios off of another site - amalgum - volcano - cavern - portal - as well as the we stay at home scenario from the official site too then bought some uhf glue and printed all these off and glued them on they look great - perfect size!
