This product is very lightweight and in a very smart diameter but able to hold hundreds of pounds. The hollow braid is excellent for splicing. The coloring does rub off a bit but otherwise and excellent product. Does require a sharp knife to cut and is recommended not to use scissors as it will destroy your scissors and also give frayed cuts.

We bought this for building a trellis. We live in FL and needed to build a lightweight trellis that would a) withstand high winds or b) not cause damage if it failed in high winds. We attached light weight plastic lattice sheets to cross beams of extruded aluminum that we attached to an existing frame built into the house. We used this to attach all the pieces because it is UV resistant. We also use it on our sailboat for many lashing needs. We also used it to attach a pipe on the bottom of our RV when the metal attachment the manufacturer and repair shop used failed repeatedly. It is very strong and highly durable as well as easy to use if you know how to tie a knot.

I use this mostly for tarp suspension because it is small, light and extremely strong. Yet it is ideal for many other uses. With practice it will hold most of the same knots than you use with larger cordage. It is more slippery than other materials, but that suits my needs better than common poly or paracord.

Purchased as a gift. She got a laugh out of it.

I use this for my hammock rain fly setup. I made a continuous ridge line for my rain, guy lines, and several soft shackles to make pursick loops with soft shackles.I’ve also used it as draw string in several stuff sacks made from rip stop nylon and canvas. Works better with the rip stop.

VERY strong twine for a number of projects around the boat. Excellent whipping twine for soft shackles.

Whatever you’ve heard about this product, it’s likely true. Worth every penny. Just wish it was easier to get my hands on in Canada.

I got this to make some experimental bowstrings using a bowyer's knot to determine the best length for a custom bowstring. It has performed so well that I have not gotten around to making it yet. I will also fill a finger from a leather glove with lead shot and use this as a casting line for tree work. So much strength in such a small cord boggles the mind.
