14 in. Smoke Acrylic Globe - with 5.25 in. Neckless Opening - American 3203-14020-003

The globe is very well made, and just the matching replacement that I was looking for. Shipping was fast, and packing was secure. I rated this four stars, because I thought that the price was higher than I expected, but that probably not fair since the last replacement I purchased was 15 yrs ago.

Came in perfect condition, had no scratches or cracks. Ended up using it as a base for a faux diving helmet and it worked perfect! When cut, the edges are pretty sharp and rough, but it's very easy to sand smooth with some medium grit sandpaper. Contact cement, hot glue, Bondo, and plastidip all stuck to the smooth surface perfectly.

Working great for the DeadMau5 Head project my son is working on. We had hoped from the picture that it was darker that it is, but is supposed to be a light cover after all...so it's understandable.

PROS:-perfect size for Dead Mau5 helmet-dark so it is harder to see through if material is not the bestCONS:-Fragile (my dad dropped it which cracked it up the side)OTHER THOUGHTS:-Cut using a dremel tool on high to melt the plastic, or else risk chipping it on low speeds

Arrived on-time in good condition. Excellent finish, no debris. Neck opening is a bit rough, but nice and flat. Tinting is not a dark as shown in the illustration. Outside finish is very smooth, reflections are sharp, not diffuse as shown in the illustration.

Mold seam is on the equator of this, meaning it's horizontal and you can see from every direction, whereas the same product from other locations have a seam that goes vertically and can be positioned out of view.Would not buy again.
