Very well designed pump & easy install
Not quiet, but none of them are. The bypass valve system reduces cycling so I like that. Easy to replace old pump. I liked it so much I bought another one for backup and have kept the second one in the box for 2 years! The power is much better than OEM, but still drops noticeably with more than one faucet opened.

HUGE upgrade!
got this to replace the 11 year old shurflo 3.5 gpm pump that i am pretty sure came with my trailer. thing was having all sorts of issues and it had a constant problem of "surging" pressure whenever you turned something on because of the pump cycling on and off. taking showers SUCKED assuming you could even get a whole shower in before the check valve decided to lock up and have 0 pressure. overall just a bad time with the ol shurfloenter this bad boi. coupled with a seaflo accumulator tank and my water pressure is DEAD NUTS ON 60 PSI at all times. i even put a gauge on there to be sure. all my faucets have excellent flow and pressure on the pump like it was hooked to city water! showers are PERFECT with no weird "surging" from the pump cycling. it's also much quieter which is wild considering this pump is bigger!since i wasn't sure if it had its own check valve, i installed one in-line on the vacuum side. if you do install a check valve, THAT'S WHERE IT GOES. trust me. i put it between the accumulator and pump and the pump didn't want to fully shut off, and the pressure was a whole 5 psi higher than it should be. swapped it around and all is goodall and all, this is it y'all. get this one!

Quiet and efficient good for continuous use and works with hot water.
Amazingly quiet and able to run continuously for 2hrs without overheating. Lightyears ahead of generic models. I used this in conjunction with a portable heater to heat up a 700gal stock tank. Handled 110 degree water with no issues either. I used a 300W waterproof led transformer to power it.

Hope it doesn't break or need repair!
I purchased 2 of these pumps, the first on 12/20/20, the second in August of 21. They seem like great pumps to start. In August, the first pump began having an issue where is cycles on and of rapidly, with no reason... no faucet open, no air in lines... I purchased the second one to replace it, intending to have the first warranty repaired. So, I would have a spare for future use if ever needed.Less than 4 months after getting the 2nd, it began having the exact same issue.I called the help-line... the guy told me he would send me a couple of new switches. (So, I must be a qualified repair technician? I work HR.)That was 3 weeks ago. I emailed the reciepts, along with the description of the issue... I get no response. I emailed, asking specifically for a response so I know I'm not being ignored... no response. I've called the help-line 6 times since the first call and can only leave a voicemail. The warranty on the first one expires in less than 10 days. I'm calling the BBB.Update, 3/4/2022: I found someone to put the switches on both pumps, put one back in service. It works, but is still cycling. The guy, Frank H. keeps telling me there must be a leak somewhere and won't honour the warranty. I've had someone crawl around under my house, look for leaks, check the power source for voltage... nothing is wrong. I'd like my money back so I can go with a different company. This pump is faulty and they won't honour their extended warranty.

Lousy customer service and product support
I bought this pump barely a month ago and almost out of the starting blocks it didn’t work very well. Extremely loud and then would not shut off and would constantly run with a hissing sound. Tried calling the company many times with it going directly to voicemail, with then a guy named Frank responding by text wanting me to explain what the problem was. After repeated tries finally somebody called back only to hear them try to tell me that this was primarily supposed to be a wash-down pump. Nowhere on their website does it say that nor on the box that it came in. It states automatic demand. I have lived on a sailboat for more than 35 years, and have replaced many pumps on my boats and on others, and I’ve never had such a crappy brand new pump, and such crappy and disrespectful customer service. I would never buy from this company again.. back to Jabsco. These are cheaper pumps but for a reason..

heavy duty
bought this to replace shurflo 3.0 gpm pumpmin my rv. had room to install but itnis so much more powerful that i needed to return it because the draw down on my house batteries was too much once solar was no longer charging. once the batts fell to 12.5v or less, the pump would not automatically turn off even when water valves were closed. it mentions needing full power when running but normally12.5 can sufficiently run pumps we have been using for decades for a few minutes without problrms. however, this one can draw 15amps max, almost twice what shurflo draws. so without shore power or genset running when off grid after sundown, it could run a battery bank down quite a bit if showering, even short ones, when you have no active charging going on. if hooked up all the time and charger is on, it would be a quality addition to the rv. however, unless you have a large battery bank when offgrid, which we do often in summer, it is overkill.
