ECM216 2.5-Inch Peel and Stick Crown Molding

I am impressed by the awkwardly designed molding. Difficult to install and the seams are visible. It is worthy of $15 maybe. Buying this will guarantee you regret.

It's o.k. but certainly not as good as the REAL thing. Takes a little practice to get it to hug the wall and is not suitable for uneven walls. That being said, I think it was worth the price. Great idea, needs a little tweaking

This molding is really easy to install IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Don't just start sticking it up thinking you know what you're doing. I have this in my 3 bedrooms, hallway and bathroom right now and it was so easy to install. If you caulk the inside corners it looks MUCH nicer. BUT there ARE seams midway through the wall since these are roughly 5' pieces. But that doesn't really bother me too much. I got all of those rooms done for $150. That's not bad at all - much cheaper and easier than real wood crown molding that I would have had to paint and would have had seams in too. I'm going to try to caulk the mid-line seams too, but I am unsure how that'll look.

Put up according to directions and video tutorials. Half didn't stick and there were lots of gaps. Looks cheap and not worth the money or time at all. Just save money for the real thing.

The material this trim is made of is thin, flimsy plastic that damages easily. Installing it was a nightmare. No wood framed house has perfectly straight lines in every wall and ceiling, so some gaps are to be expected with molding of any material. But the wavy-ness of this trim resulted in many wide gaps between the wall and trim, even when being meticulous about placing the edge of the trim exactly where the wall meets the ceiling, in as straight a line as possible. Several attempts to minimize the size of the gaps only left the trim damaged. Caulking did not help as one customer review suggested. The adhesive is the best feature due to its strength, but once you have the incredibly false looking trim in place, it will not come down without destroying the ceiling. If you are in the same situation, try using a hairdryer to warm the adhesive, it removes much easier this way. Easy, peel and stick faux wood trim is a great concept, but this product fails to deliver. It just looks like a cheap plastic stick-up mess.
