Very promising...
So far, I haven't been able to take it out hiking...but it's been a couple of weeks since I bought it, and I'm still finding pockets. The backpack has a smaller backpack that zips off. The straps are adjustable in more ways that I thought possible. I've tried it on empty, full, half full...once properly fitted, it just feels amazing. Compared to a few other packs I've had, this one almost seems to float behind you while resting evenly on your shoulders and hips. The balance feels perfect, and the features are incredible. Guerrilla Packs really squeezed a lot of pack into this model. Not the biggest pack I've seen, but still roomy enough to accommodate all of my gear. I'm not a minimalist either, so there is usually a decent amount of stuff packed when I go hiking. Comfort over austerity, I've nothing to prove except to myself. The detachable top pouch is roomy enough to hold your mess kit, stove, snacks, and a camera. I'm considering using it as a quick grab bag for mealtimes at camp, or possibly a quick detach medic bag. Multiple ways to enter the main compartment drastically reduce the need to dig through your gear. No more unpacking half of your bag just because you got your socks wet...or because your firestarter somehow fell in and slid to the very bottom... The only thing I would add to this bag, molle straps. That's really all I can think of.I'll be sure to post an update when I've gone on a nice long hike for a few days. I will try to paint a good picture of what it's like to live out of this bag while carrying it around.

For about 20 bucks more some premium brands can be found with stronger nylon and better featurs if you dont mind last years mode
Bought this to check out the brand, ended up giving it away as a gift. A few of the seames were broke in out of the way places but I found them. For about 20 bucks more, some premium brands can be found with stronger nylon and better features if you dont mind last years model. Not sure I trust it. I went with a MountainSmith Apex instead. For a little more money its a brand I trust.Lots of features and I did load it up to 45lbs, not sure if I would want to stress this pack. If your going to actually backpack, worse thing is a broken pack. For travel I would pick a more durable material.

Strong, Sleek, Functional, and Plenty of Room
I took this bag on a 10 day trip from my hometown to San Antonio Texas. The bag endured a 12 hour trip in the luggage compartment of a greyhound bus there and back. The multiple access points to the main storage of the bag came in handy many times. The detachable top carried all my hygiene products perfectly and allowed me to travel with it back-and-forth each time I took a shower. Multiple access points to the bottom storage came in handy as well. The bag has the ability to contain a lot more than you think while remaining comfortable. I was able to pack 10 pairs of underwear, 10 pairs of socks, three pairs of shoes, eight undershirts, One dress shirt, a pair of khaki cargo pants and shorts, my go Pro, my Mac Mini for work including the mouse and keyboard, and my hygiene products. The additional smaller backpack that detaches came in super handy as a carry-on that allowed me to take a couple extra shirts, socks, underwear, a drink, and my iPad. I have yet to take it camping but it got plenty of use on my 10 day trip to San Antonio.People will have some complaints because I imagine they have high expectations. there are a lot of bags out there that have these additional bells and whistles that are functional and serve a purpose. It's about finding the right bag for you and this one definitely fit me.The bag could use some extra loops to carry items on the outside but that's an easy fix with some paracord.Overall, I'm very happy with his backpack and i've already started recommending it to friends and family. I'm considering getting a second pack and looking forward to additional products from guerrilla packs. Buy the pack .

Comfortable, sturdy pack for the price
Hiked 3 days for almost 30 miles and was able to pack everything I needed. Pack met all my expectations and then some. Still trying to find the sweet spot on adjustment. I wish there was some extra webbing to attach things, but that's nothing I can't modify myself. Overall great pack for the price.

I really liked the design of this pack with the detachable day ...
I really liked the design of this pack with the detachable day pack. It was a little heavier than advertised and just didn't seem to ride well on my body style. I ended up returning it and going with another pack all together. Get for shorter trips that you want more stuff with you. Would recommend living out of it for days at a time.

The lumbar support is poorly secured so it can easily pop out
The lumbar support is poorly secured so it can easily pop out.The build doesnt actually do much to help carry the load. The frame is cheap and crappy material. But is big and isnt complete trash

Gone are the days of dragging a bag!
Recently purchased this pack for an upcoming international trip as I didn't want to use a traditional suitcase. I've been testing it on shorter domestic trips and so far I love it! I packed a weeks worth of clothes in the main compartment, 3 pair of shoes in the lower compartment, and still had the top cover pockets, side pockets, and 10L backpack available for additional storage!! I used the side harnesses to secure my travel blanket and pillow and was able to maneuver through the airport and onto the plane fairly easy. Didn't have to check the bag, which made transfers so quick and simple. So far, its been an awesome buy!

Great Bag for 3-4 days of hiking.
This pack is awesome for a couple of days of hiking. There are so many ways to access the inside, and it holds a great amount of equipment/clothes for its small size. I packed three changes of clothes in it along with a decent sized first aid kit and a large flash-light and still had a good deal of room for food for my trip. The top is removable as well and has two pockets, which are very helpful in fitting more gear. The removable day-pack is expandable, which made it big enough for an extra pair of shoes, an extra water bottle (as I had clipped two on the shoulder straps) and spare socks, along with my food.Overall, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

First impression...amazing!
Amazing bags. Haven't hiked with them yet but they are well constructed and very versatile. Three entry points (bottom, front and top) removable smaller pack that expands, water bladder compatible, removable top pouch, multiple zippered storage pouches/compartments and just awesome all round. I only hope they are as durable as they look and as comfortable as they seem to be. Only giving a 4 out of 5 until I actually use it but first impression is 5 out of 5!

Great Pack - Great Value. Excellent Hip support.
Rocked this through Europe for 3 weeks and loved it. Good size, VERY good hip and support system. Day pack is a bit small, but was decent enough for our daily needs. I used the rain fly as a wrap for the straps on flights when checking the bag, so it got a bit dinged up, but the bag itself stayed like new.

but it makes an awkward sound when walking - like plastic rubbing on metal
big and durable, but it makes an awkward sound when walking - like plastic rubbing on metal. it's still taken me to over a dozen countries, and i'll keep using it. the add-on back pack is nice, but not practical. i use it separately now.

Also the little bag on the back is pretty goofy looking when you try and wear it
The build quality isn't exactly what I was expecting, it started to show some serious wear and tear after 1 (gentle) camping trip. Also the little bag on the back is pretty goofy looking when you try and wear it.
