Pleasantly Surprised
For the price and for how quick and easy the gel comes off your nails, it is worth every penny. If I do not file down the nail enough, it does not do as well but I just put them back in for a bit and the rest will come off.The amount of acetone used in the little cup is minimal. I have had over 60 days I believe and I do not have any complaints. So far so good.

Just use the zip lock method
It just doesn't work. I wanted it to work. I watched a video of someone using one and thought that it was great. The box came crushed in the mail. It took an exceptionally long time to get here (6-8 weeks I think). The instructions were vague. Plug it in, turn it on, wait for the "H" to stop and the "S" to come on. I did all that. Then I stuck my fingers in. I thought that it was weird that it wasn't warm inside. But I stuck with it. Then it kept switching back and forth between "H" and "S" and every time it went back to "H" I could hear a motor running. It finally got a little warm. I kept it in for over 15 minutes and the polish was gummy on the surface of 2 nails only. None had come off. It says to use something to peel it off immediately so I tried but nothing would come off even with the metal scraper. Completely disappointed and have requested a return. Although the box was destroyed in shipping so who knows if I can even do that. What a waste of time and money. **just put some nail polish remover in a zip lock bag, with a folded up paper towel inside. Make sure there's acetone in the bag even after its been soaked up. Not a ton but maybe quarter of an inch. Heat some water (just warm enough that it doesn't hurt to put your fingers in) and put your hand in the bag and the bag into the water. Nails should be against the wet papertowel. It heats the acetone and the gel and dip literally rubs right of after a few minutes (think 3-5 for dip). I'm going back to this. Way easier.**

Amazing!
Excellent product to remove gel polish. I dont use acrylics so I do not know how it will perform for that. I dont like how most nail polish places remove the gel a the salon (electric drill) soI usually remove my polish before heading there and have them take care of the rest. It has worked wonders for my nail health:) Its supposed to steam! Dont put your fingers in the hot nail polish remover 😂 I cant believe some of these reviews.

Poor quality and stopped working after 5 uses.
This quit working after using 5 times. Too long to send back. My husband looked at it and it had been used numerous times. Will never buy any appliance again from Amazon!! Thinking twice about buying anything again.

Too hot, didn’t help get the gel polish off.
I followed the directions. I buffed and filed my nails down to remove that top layer of polish before soaking. The steamy heat was too much for me, it was hurting my hands. You can’t see the progress unless you take your fingers out. Had my nails in and out (due to the high temps) for 30 minutes and it did nothing but dry out my nails terribly.

Disappointed
I was hoping it would be better. My fingers burned from the acetone while my they were being steamed. The acetone smell was overwhelming. It hardly worked. And! Even tho i had protective matt down, the acetone got all over my dining room table. So, waste of money, didn’t work, and lost a $2k dining room table

Good product
I wouldn’t say it’s a game changer by any means. I do my own dip nails, I have removed the top in this and just soak my nails with a little cotton balls. This is good for keeping the acetone warm, the steam portion IMO is a little to hot.
