Shindaiwa by Echo T3000 (14") 56-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless String Trimmer (Battery & Charger Included)

This thing is great quality and power.I am surprised at only one review and thought it was some kind of trick.The T3000 is well balanced.Not to much weight to handle.I don't need and xtra battery.My lot is 70 by 160.I could not be happier.This would even beat more expensive models.Its ok to purchase youll love it.The line feeding works great.The only CON.The name shindaiwa.It sounds funny.If I see other shindaiwa products.Count me in UPDATE. Still lovin it.Its actually fun to use this thing,sure makes my job much much easier.I hope Shindaiwa keeps it up as they have a real quality build

Simply outstanding trimmer. Relatively light and quite surprisingly powerful. Wish I has made the change to this trimmer years ago over my gas powered Stihl trimmer. I definitely recommend this unit to anyone wanting a top quality, great priced, battery trimmer. You won’t be disappointed.

Well built trimmer when compared to the competitors although it’s very long and not Telescopic. It does not accept other attachments but has plenty of power to run them. Battery lasted me twenty minutes, ok for my lot, I haven’t loaded line yet but seems to be simple.

I got this to replace a gas-powered Stihl that I am tired of maintaining. The Shindaiwa weighs half as much, is just as powerful and I don't have to mess around with gas or pull-strings. I have about .4 of an acre to trim around bushes, the fence, edging etc. and it has run flawlessly. I've used it four times now for about 15 minutes each time and I still have 2 bars left on the battery charge. Definitely worth the money and better quality than some of the big box store offerings.

I have never written an Amazon product review before, but this thing is great, so far. It's powerful, quiet and I was able to trim my one acre property on one charge. What's nice, compared to gas-powered models, is this trimmer stops running when you release the trigger, saving the battery and no noise as you walk around the yard. One caveat, BE AWARE the battery does not just slide right out when it first comes out of the box. The directions don't tell you this, but there is an orange plastic square in front of the battery that must be removed using an enclosed Allen wrench. I had to call the company to get this info.

Nice trimmer for a battery operated. It does everything around here that my gas trimmer did. The battery life could be better but I could always get a second battery. I chose not to because I can always find something else while it is charging. My thoughts were that I can always order a second one if I need it.I have used it three times now and I think it is great. It is light, it is quiet, it works well for a homeowner and no gas/oil to mix.

After only about 4 hours battery showed it was completely charged and would work only for 4 seconds. could not figure it out. I take care of my equipment and it was fairly new. Took it to a Echo/Shindaiwa dealer 45 minutes away, than found out the battery was no good, even though it showed all lights green, fully charged. It`s on a warrantee, but of course all the bs, they have to contact the factory sales person, blah, blah, blah and still waiting. People it ain`t worth "buying" these unless you all have another unit standing by. Before I buy anything, I check on the reviews, but I needed one asap, what a mistake. Now I am going to pay for it, double time. I am glad we all have these reviews, so we can read and write up. I know it could be "boring" but it`s worth it. Again, don`t buy these units, you will be sorry.

So far so good, it has more power than i expected
