90 plug is all I really wanted
I've had a lot of headphones and adapters break recently. I've been using 90 degree charging cables for years and they never break. So all I really wanted was a pair of headphones or an adapter with a plug like this one. I think the lower profile stick out helps keep the plug from having too much stress on it. This also works with my pixel 2, which is not always the case with these adapters. I haven't used it much yet, but I have high hopes that this will solve my headphone issues.

works sometimes (Pixel 2)
Tried this with a google pixel 2. The reliability of this device is very finicky. it will work if you have the right combination of power adapter, charging cable, and insert it into the phone the right way. Otherwise, the power delivery to the phone seems to be insufficient. i believe it has something to do with USB audio routing in the phone, because when that setting is turned off, it delivers power just fine.

It’s not that bad
I used this with the Google Pixel 2 XL. And the good thing that is dongle/adapter works not like the $0.4 that I bought. But sound distort using regular earphones
