Being a novice at laminators, thought the device would output very hot sheets of plastic, hard to align and must be inserted in a certain way as to not bind the medium. In past, watched identification cards being made, where the medium had to inserted very carefully, so as not to come out incorrect. This experience was far from that! The GoGo Gadgets Laminator is truly very easy to use, performs the job efficiently and provides quality results. It takes less than a minute to laminate a full sheet of paper.Pro’s:-Cutter Assembly: Laminator has a paper cutter on the top. It cuts evenly and has three separate cutting styles. Compared the GoGo cutter with a standard cutter made by Swingline. The physical size of the Gogo device is significantly smaller than a standard cutter. However, it cuts the same width of a standard cutter, twelve inches. The GoGo cutter makes a very smooth cuts and doesn’t require the heavy pressure during the cut operation that the Swingline cutter required. The three cutting edges are straight, wavy and perforated. Additionally, there are guidelines etched on the top of the laminator to make cuts at different angles. Buying a separate cutter with multiple can be costly. A single cutting-edge device runs about twenty dollars by itself, so it is a very nice feature to be included and less likely to misplace. The GoGo is more compact and requires less space to store. The cutter device works perfectly on the plastic laminated sheets; eliminating the use of scissors and the errors them come from manually making cuts. The GoGo provides a more professional cutting edge. Cutting selections are an easy turn of a knob.-Temperature: The GoGo Laminator heats up very quickly and cools down just as fast. While in operation, the temperature of the Laminator was warm to the touch. Do not recommend moving it during operation, see manufacturers recommendations. Recommend using it on a hard surface to be safe. This did not damage the wooden dining room table. Sheets directly coming out of the unit while laminating are slightly warmer to the touch. Was expecting laminated sheets to be very hot due to the process, but that is not true. However, I would follow manufacturers suggested time to allow the sheet to cool a little before holding it. The items are almost immediately ready to be cut within seconds of extracting from the back of the assembly. There is an indicator light that glows green when it’s ready to laminate.-Lamination Size: A standard 8.5 X 11 paper can be laminated. The size of the lamination sheets is 9 inches by 11 3/8ths, which is enough to provide a nice edge around the entire item being laminated.-Jamming Device: Since the tested model was brand new, did not have any jams. However, there is a feature, with a simple press of a button, that extracts the jammed materials should it occur. When placing the lamination sheets into the device, they go in very smoothly. The device continues to pull the sheets through it and ejects them out of the back. Pictures and papers tested were all undamaged by the heat process.-Common Lamination Medium: The GoGo Gadget Thermal Laminator uses a very common size sheet; 3mil thick 9 inch by 11.5 size pages. The material is very affordable and cost approx. ten dollars for a pack of a hundred sheets.Con’s:-User Guide indicates six in one. While it can be used for more than six functions; noticed three basic users for this device. A hot laminator, a cold laminator, and a multi-function paper cutter.-Cold Lamination: There are no plastic sheets provided with the assembly. This feature was not tested. For most applications, probably better to use the hot laminator so that the plastic actually sticks to the medium desired. There is a switch that allows the use of ‘cold lamination’.-Paper size: Should a smaller picture or index card be required to have laminated; one must use an entire sheet of lamination material. However, suspect that smaller blank sheets can be purchased. The GoGo Laminator kit provides 25 full size sheets with the order.-Cutter section: Swingline cutter has more surface area to hold the object (about ten inches in this case). The GoGo has about a five-inch depth. However, note that the GoGo holds the paper very easily, so this is only a very minor difference.Conclusion: Suspect that any paper product, standard size and below (8.5 X 11), could be laminated. The GoGo could be used to create recipe index cards, blank “To-Do” checklists, as well as a favorite photograph. One could hand write their recipe and laminate it so that it could be used in the kitchen without fear of spilling liquid on the card, damaging or losing that recipe. Checklists or Calendar blanks could be made and re-used with an easel maker or grease pencil. Great for having a checklist while working outside. Again, not having to worry about it getting wet and losing the written information.Having the cutter included with the laminator is a big plus; giving any job a more professional appearance. The cutter can be used without turning on the laminator. The cost of the lamination material is very affordable. The GoGo Gadgets Laminator is very easy to use, compact and will make any lamination job look fantastic!

This machine is well made, lightweight, and easy to use.I really like the integrated 3-1 cutter.The laminator heats up quickly and it laminates without any air bubbles.I used the cold setting to laminate thermal paper receipts, for tax purposes.Great that is comes with a good supply of laminate paper. That way you are able to start your projects , as soon as you take it out of the box. I have enjoyed using the thermal laminator. My grandchildren have used it for some of their school projects. I would recommend this product to anyone. This is a GREAT product.

I like the lightweight, slim design so it is easy to store and retrieve when I want to use it. I also like the built in cutter because I am horrible at straight lines. This makes me look like a pro all around. The laminator was very easy and quick to use. Now we are hunting for things to laminate just because it is so fun to use. I can't wait for the holiday season so I can preserve Christmas cards. We are using the laminator for craft projects and preserving my daughter's "works of art".

I bought this product but it never worked because of a factory fault. However, I contacted the company and they were super accommodating! They were able to send me the 'big brother" to the one I had ordered at no additional cost to me. I am SUPER HAPPY with my product. It works perfectly; the hot and cold laminating, the paper cutter and edges..... Great product for everyday use. Two thumbs up!! I would recommend this product for anyone to buy.

It heats up quickly and is very easy to use. I like that it doesn't get too hot, actually casing doesn't get hot to touch, manly just the bottom. I like how user friendly this is. I feel confident never having used one before. The main concern I had was it getting too hot. As long as it is placed on a firm surface it's fine.I just used it to protect important papers such as college diploma and birth certificate. I plan on using it for other things as well like organising and protecting other important documents( car ins cards, and cards for family members and pictures.)

I've always wanted a laminating machine to protect important papers & documents and for those sentimental drawings & such that our kids & grandkids give to us to hang on the refrigerator. Another favorite thing I really like laminating are photos so they will never fade or crumble.This handy, dandy gadget has proven to be an excellent item to have around! It can do both hot & cold lamination and is very quick & simple to use. It can fit all size documents up to 9" wide. I'm so happy I finally got a laminating machine and I will always laminate everything important & sentimental to me so they will forever be preserved!

I read several reviews and took a chance on this laminater. I loved all the options for the price especially the 3 in 1 cutter. Shipping was super fast. I starting using it right away. The first thing I noticed is on the bottom of every page there are bubbles (see photo). The sheets that are sent with the machine curled on the top as they went through. The button on the cutter that switches the blade is pretty flimsy. I understand it has to get hot but the top gets super hot. You may have better luck. For the price, they could make a better quality product.

It is a very nice size. Not too big, not too small. It heats up to the working temperature in just a few minutes and does a great job of laminating.I intend to use this laminator in my classroom to make signs for my room and lab. I will also use it to laminate things I use with students for quiz/test preparation activities. This will be much more convenient to use than the huge model laminator in the teacher workroom
