Shave Cream Oil, Ultra Gliding Shave Oil, 1.7 Fl Oz

Way better than I thought. After using this with the correct razor for my sensitive skin (Mach 3 Turbo), is works like a dream. I use 2-3 pumps and it covers my entire face. I letit sink in for about 30 seconds then add my shave cream (Pacific shave cream) on top of it and I can shave with and the against the grain with no razor burn and smooth skin. And a great plus is that since it is a thin oil it rinses off very easy. Also the small is amazing, which is a great bonus.

I've tried several shave oils and this is best yet. I used Shave Secret for several years, but it is much more viscous than Crew oil, although it works OK. SS tended to clog my blades; Crew oil does not. For the record, I have a medium-heavy beard and use this oil without shaving cream and get excellent results with my Harry's razor. It is reasonably priced and smells good, leaving my skin in good shape. Update: after two years I am increasingly impressed with this product and I'm giving it another star. I can't imagine shaving with anything else.

This is my second bottle & I use mine in the shower only. I’m not a hairy guy so this works on my whole head & face perfectly. It has a great subtle scent and a warming effect when applying. I’ve tried several others also but right now this is getting it done.

This is the best shaving oil I have used, and I go all the way back to KoS in 1995. This one shaves perfectly with my Leaf Thorn using Nacet, Lada, or Astra blades. No clogging the razor, rinses off the blades clean, and doesn't cause sink issues. The only complaint is that it has a slight clove smell, not as strong as S.S., but it is apparent. I would also like to see more scents become available. Still the best.

I've tried lots of different shave oils and keep coming back. Not a thick oil and very high lubricity.

I love the smell of this stuff, and the kind of shave I get with it. For the last two years since switching to shave oil, my 'new' routine has been to shower, then immediately shave. The results have been great... no more irritation, ingrown hairs, etc. The one issue with this particular product is the packaging. The flip top has broken on 2 of the 3 bottles I've bought of the 1.7 oz bottle. If you don't travel, this probably wouldn't be an issue. In my case, the result was a ziploc baggie full of shaving oil. I don't want to belabor the point, but the bottle was inside a ziploc bag, inside my soft sided toiletry kit, inside my suitcase. So while the bottle definitely was subjected to a little rough treatment, I think a weak design of the bottle top also contributed.

I have a heavy beard with soft skin. I always thought I had to have thick lather to shave, but no more. Using shaving oil helps me to better see how well I'm shaving and that means no nicks or cuts. The oil helps the blade glide over the surface of my face and the scent is pleasant without being over powering. I use it exclusively.

A friend of mine has been using oil to shave for years, cos I suffer from sensitive skin he told me to use his oil and see how I get on with it. Well from the first shave with the hot oil you need a hot blade too, the shave was awesome I'd say the best shave in years my skin is in a much better condition. This oil is the only one I've used and it's fantastic, as you pore it out onto your hands it's hot oil then rub it well into your stubble. Your like me never go back too shaving gel or cream. This stuff Rocks.

I had never used a product for pre-shave with an electric shaver and I am pleasantly surprised, just a spot on your hands rubbed into the wet beard and the shaver now runs smoothly over the skin. Wish I had known about this years ago.
