I haven't noticed any tightening or slimming effects, but I do like that its moisturizing while not being too greasy. Because its not greasy this does mean you have to apply it day and night because skin is noticeably dry after 10hrs. I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing because I am going to start using the Vitamin C lotion at night, so with collagen applied in the daytime they won't build up and irritate my skin between the two.
