LeapFrog Explorer Learning Game: LeapSchool Math

My 4 year old granddaughter has several LeapFrog Explorer Learning Games. She finds each one interesting and exciting in different ways. This one has been very helpful in developing her math skills. I love how the games teach in a fun way that makes a child just naturally want to learn more. I also bought a Toy Story game dealing with phonics for my 4 year old grandson. He loves his also!

This game is fun for my son age 5 when he got it for his birthday. He can create a games & other items to sell. It teaches how to give correct change back to a customer.

The LeapFrog Explorer Learning Game: LeapSchool Math is a great cartridge. My seven year old son is struggling with math and he is learning alot by using this Math game. He really enjoys it and he is able to earn Badges and Micromods as his rewards. The price is great and it was worth every penny. The best thing about this Math game is the fact that you can tell that alot of time and effort was put into it and it wasn't just thrown together to make a quick sale. I have been a long time supporter of LeapFrog and this is another home run!!

I bought this game for my 4 yr old son. It didn't hold his interests. He played of for about 10 minutes and hasn't touched it since then (we've owned it for a few months now). He didn't like the characters and thought it was boring. There is a lot of talking and wait time between the small bits of actual game play time. I probably would not buy this game again but gave it 3 stars because it was somewhat educational but just did not hold my child's attention.

I gave my daughter this game cartridge and she played with it continuously that day. Until she finished all the levels. When I reviewed the game that night I realized she didn't get 3 of the badges - there is an overall badge for finishing. But she was happy to replay the game for most of the next day. She didn't change the cartridge at any time.Like the description and other reviews states: they make bears, bubble bath gel or video games; sell them; give change (up to number 50). Teaches even and odd numbers too.She said that she loves the game, although I had to help with 42 minus 4, but not with 46-4 (i.e. When units in the larger number is smaller than the units in the smaller number).

I purchased this game for my 6 y/o daughter. At first, I thought it was too easy for her, but once she completed a couple "levels," it started getting a little bit tougher. So far, she's played for a total of two hours with me sitting along side her. She totally loves the game and there are voice prompts that cheered her on the entire time; which she totally loved. She's all about learning from praise and this game seems to give her almost as much as I do. :) Very satisfied with the game so far and look forward to the additional levels & games offered. Once we put the game away and went to the grocery store, she was counting our change. Awesome game. A++.

This game is great for young children to give them a foundation early in their math skills. It gets your childs attention and holds them in to where they don't know they are learning. Buying the Leap pad and it's games has been an awesome decision and wish I could've had one for my older children.
