The best mineral makeup
Bar none, the best mineral makeup I have ever used ! Had never heard of the brand before but thought I would try it. This paired with the yellow skin corrector powder used underneath and you could never tell I have some mild rosacea. Non irritating and great coverage without looking like concealer. I hope everyone who tries this has the same results. So happy I found this.

Nice loose powder to go over moisturizer
I generally like pressed powder, but I've been wanting to try loose powder. This powder in the Fairly Light Cool tint is a perfect match for my skin. I generally match the lightest color on a makeup palette. This brand has an even lighter shade -- Light -- but it might have made me look even paler than I am. I use this with a brush rather than a sponge, so it's kind of messy. But I like the look, as long as I put a good moisturizer under it. It's tough to find cosmetics with a matte finish -- everyone likes shiny and glossy these days. But on a woman of a certain age, matte is the way to go. I'm not sure whether the organic claim makes this any better to put on your face, but in the dark ages, women used to put horribly toxic things on their faces. So, maybe the inorganic drugstore cosmetics I've been using will turn out to be just as bad. So, organic it is! Note that the jar is tiny -- just 1.5 ounces (about 1.75 inches in diameter). You'll just have to decide whether the price of $33 is worth it for you.

Didn't apply easily, zero directions with product,
I wanted to love this mineral foundation but it isn't easy. The product does not come with any information. First of all, if you have never applied a mineral foundation, please note that you need directions. Swirling, pressing, buffing, layering. This isn't like a powder compact for removing the shine from your nose. The only reason I know this is because I tried Bare Minerals many years ago. So I had to look up some tutorials on YouTube for applying mineral foundation for a good refresher. The powder you receive only comes with a logo on a sticker and an ingredient list. No website, no contact information, no directions, no tips, etc.Ok, I found the tutorials, rounded up appropriate brushes, and prepped my skin. I tapped, swirled, pressed, etc. I layered as necessary. I didn't like the results but I kept trying. I washed my face and tried again. Maybe this type of product is better for certain types of skin because it didn't seem to agree with mine. I just couldn't get even coverage. The powder didn't seem very fine and didn't want to buff in.Dear Mudflower, please consider building a website and adding tutorials for anyone new to mineral foundation. Contact information would also be helpful. It's an FDA cosmetic labeling requirement.

Good product
This product is great for light make-up wearers. It feels nice and light, but does provide coverage to even out the skin tone. I have sensitive skin and have not had one issue w/ this product.

Just OK
This powder foundation is called full coverage, but I didn't find it to be true. I have a couple of red spots, and a brownish discoloration from a fading blemish, and you could still see them. It's very light, and I think more suited to younger skin, as I found it caking in areas that aren't quite that smooth anymore. The ingredients seem good, and the SPF is a bonus, but I wasn't overly impressed with the performance.

Looks good and pleasant to use
I wasn't quite quick enough. One minute I had the small, pretty jar next to me, and the next the supple fingers of my teenage daughter were picking it up and asking "hey, what's this?" I explained to her that it was a powder foundation, and she was intrigued. "Can I please try it?" she begged. How could I say no? The next thing I knew she was in love with this stuff and joking that she'd "fight me for it." At least I think it was a joke. What does she like about it? The way it looks on her slightly acne-prone skin. The matte coverage does a great job at covering any oily areas and minimizing blemises, and the color plays very well with her fair complexion. I told her that it offered protection from the sun and she was pleased, but in a vague way that made me think she'll forget about it tomorrow. This is fine with me, as I don't see how powder can have a high SPF, so I want her to reach for something more definite when she needs protection. It's there, though. It's nice that it is organic and vegan, but it wouldn't matter if it didn't look good -- but it does. The only negative is that it is a very small container for a fairly high price, but that's not exactly unique among makeup, especially foundations.

TOO SMALL FOR PRICE
I was very disappointed to find out that this product was such a small item for $26...I would have not ordered it had I known it was so small...the picture was deceiving to me
