Good quality but did not hold up for bashing
These drive shafts were very easy to install and worked wonderfully until I upgraded my battery then one of the rears sheared away at the U-joint close to the wheel. If you plan on racing and mild bashing then these will be wonderful but when going to an aftermarket ESC, motor, and with a little more power they may fail quickly.

Junk what a ripoff.
Worst things ever can't believe Amazon sells this ran One battery in my 4x4 and things are messed up already one of the springs that holds in the pin came off and another one when I was tightening the tire on and the not stripped out the the screw shaft part, that should never happen the metal is so soft and weak on this can't believe I wasted $42 on this piece of crap. If they would have used t10 still or something equivalent it would have worked but they used to really soft metal.

Good but could be better.
Installed on rustler 4x4 vxl. There’s a lot of slop in them and causes a lot of vibration and sound even at slow speed. They look nice and do the job but I already replaced them after only having them on the car for a day or so…

Better then the stock for a decent price
The cons is the nuts come loose and end up losing the washer/spacer and wheel nut and has to much play without the washer.but other then that I love them I do more speed runs rustler 4x4 on 4s Lipo and a 20 tooth pinion and 50 tooth spur and they have been good aside of the cons

Worth the money
I didn't like that they sent 3 front and 1 rear but other than that they work good

Don't work on Traxxis Slash
These did not fit the Traxxis Slash truck that we ordered them for.

Not much of an upgrade - poor fit and low durability
Instead of investing in the correct part, I decided to try an off-brand (cheaper) axel as the plastic fails overtime/stress. These axels, less expensive than the Traxxas upgrades as they may be, are meant as a durable replacement to the factory plastic axels. Initially, I found that the spacer nuts are not the correct size for the axels they come with and did not assemble easily. Additionally, I have found that these axels are not as durable as the heavy-duty factory replacements that are far cheaper. I had 2 axel parts eject due to the middle connection shaft not fitting Rustler VXL 4x4 correctly. The joints have also failed by either snapping at the connection points or the ball join breaks apart.(Photos are after normal use and the side by side shows that these aluminum axels' failure points are the same as the factory axels)I would recommend this part only if you want to improve the look of your RC, but not for those who plan to use an RC as intended by the MFG.

As described
1st impressions: seem to be a solid product, machining and consistency in manufacture, easy to install (30 minutes), when installed properly with the provided spacers, no excess play over stock, yes you will have to sand down the hexes for your wheels to fit, but your best bet is to just avoid this product. First run after install only made it to 3/4 throttle and left rear axle and right front axle blew apart. Best bet is to just avoid this product, suck it up and buy OE Traxxas steel axles.

GREASE THESE UP and USE THE TAPERED WASHERS!!!!
These feel really well made, and I had no issues installing them at all. I did use the stock traxxas screw the plastic slash 4x4 axels come with to lock it to the drive train as these come with 2 little screws each and they are junk, the longer 1 screw is lot more durable and reliable as it screws all the way through the shaft to the other side.Make sure you keep these greased, they don't like to work too good "dry" and on extreme angles, so if you got your ride jacked up, grease these and they should last longer than normal. Just greasing them anyways, no matter the angel is good practice. I use a synthetic automotive grease and these haven't failed me yet and I run them on my Traxxas Slash 4x4 ,3S lipo with a Castle 1410-3800kv brushless motor.Make sure to use the tapered washer they provide for each axel. So many people saying their wheels wobble and these install "loose"...they don't, if you install these properly and use the washer on the shaft BEFORE putting the "wheels hex nut" on. It's a tapered washer, so put the small tapered side against the bearing, NOT the larger flat side, otherwise when you tighten your wheel nut, your tire won't spin very well.

Falls apart
These worked great at first but quickly fell apart not too long after. They use 2 set screws to hold the shafts onto the gear box shafts which back out and loosen causing the shaft to fall off. Locktite helps but delay but they still come loose after a few runs. It has a cheap retaining ring to hold a connecting pin in the joint next to the tire. Both front pins came out within the first 10 runs with them. THere is also signs of rust inside the knuckles already. Poor quality, i would not recommend these.

Needs installation instruction
Nice quality parts , but they should come with some recommended installation instructions as they aren’t built 100% exactly the same as original ones. I couldn’t even use the supplied washers. Hopefully they’re in correctly.
