Great bench
This is a very comfortable, sturdy bench. Its not "soft" where your going to sink it but its not rock hard where its uncomfortable. Its lightweight, but very sturdy. I saw some other posts saying it was difficult to put together but, it is actually quite easy and no you don't remove the seat part as some as suggested ha. You just "x" the legs, slide them into the slots (each leg has one bar longer then the other to side into the slot) then put the bolt in the slot at the height that works for you and presto! Has 4 height settings, I am 5' tall and 2nd to last setting worked for me. My last bench which was a similar design but smaller always felt like it would rock sideways if I got too close to the edge, haven't had any issues with that with this one. Very happy with purchase, recommend!

Comfortable, sturdy bench
This is a very comfortable, sturdy bench. I can sit, playing my harp and guitar for hours without any discomfort. It’s just the right size for me, with a little wiggle room—I’m 5’6” tall—and the cushion has held its shape well. It’s also easy to keep clean.

Highest height among alternatives seen on Amazon. That comes with a related caveat.
I chose this bench because it was the only one I saw with both a 24" maximum height and a competitive price. I need that height for a Rhodes piano (perhaps other people play it standing up?). Assembly is easy, with the diagram included and the steps provided by user Tom Williams in his review (thanks, Tom). There was a small loose chip in the packaging which I found to be broken from one of the plastic parts under the bench, but it is not important to the structural integrity and it was easy to glue it back in place (I recommend LockTite special plastics superglue with a pentane primer). It must have been a rough trip from China. More importantly, be aware that at the highest setting the legs on the ground are closer together than they might be, and this makes the bench a bit unstable shifting left and right, as I learned when leaning to adjust the controls on the amp. This may be considered a design flaw; it is not clear what changes would fix this, but seemingly longer legs spaced more widely at the attachment to the bench and on the floor. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the purchase and recommend it with the caveat expressed above.

How to install the supports
I've read multiple negative reviews that are based on how you put the bench together. I believe this could easily be resolved by adding a sticker to the button of the bench that could visually show you what to do. Until that happens, I hope this review helps others easily put the bench together. 1. Remove the screw from the bolt going into both supports 2. Take the support off the bolt that is closest to the screw (make sure to keep washers in the correct order) 3. When looking at the supports, there is one side which is longer than the other 4. Slide the longer side of the support into the round plastic holder 5. Once both supports are in the holders, let them cross again and put the bolt back through both of them 6. Put the screw back on and you are done 7. To adjust the height, remove the bolt and put it into the holes that match your desired height Hopefully, this helps you put the bench together correctly and you can start enjoying it right away. Overall, the bench feels very study, has thick padding, and nice width to it. I think the bench will work great for years to come, but will revise my review should it perform otherwise.

Good quality and height adjustment
I like the non-slip cover. It was easy to put together once you know to disassemble before starting. (See earlier review with instructions by another buyer). Make sure and line up so you have the same on both sides or you will have an uneven bench. Plenty sturdy for me and I have it on the second to tallest notch. Great product all around.

Whoever designed this needs to rethink their life choices
I don't usually write reviews unless something is spectacular, or horrible. This thing is horrible in its design. The top of the bench slides onto the X-frame, which has zero way of staying in place on its own. The X-brace relies on outward/downward pressure of gravity and being attached to the top of the bench to hold its shape. Strike 1, because that's just dumb (and dangerous, as it could easily collapse onto a finger or two). But then there's the attachment mechanism of the top of the bench. It slides into the base and doesn't lock into place, at all. This means if you apply any lateral pressure to the seat, it slides right off. Because of the first issue, when that happens, the X brace also collapses and the whole thing immediately falls apart in a not-so-safe way. Strike 2, and that's a big one. The final strike is relatively minor, but even when "assembled" properly, two of the braces that hold the seat in place stick out pretty significantly. Great for running into and scraping shins on. 3 strikes, and this thing is out. A completely terribly designed, moderately comfortable piano bench. This thing is going back immediately. EDIT: Apparently it's just horrible directions. You actually have to take both legs entirely off the bench, then put them on one at a time into the bench in a way that is not at all intuitive. So it works now, and I wouldn't call it dangerous, but they've gotta do something about those instructions.

Sturdy and comfortable, doesn't come with assembly instructions
Thanks to another reviewer, I was able to assemble this easily - unfortunately it comes with NO instructions and is not intuitive for someone as assembly-challenged as I am. The bench itself seems very sturdy and doesn't wobble even on my uneven floors, and it's very comfortable.
