This cover completely solved the problems with my featherbed.We have a featherbed that we paid some serious money for. It is so comforterable that we can't sleep without it. Problem is that the feathers poke through the shell occationally. It didn't bother me too much but it is annoying. And there is no way that you can throw the bed into a washer. It is huge. Well now problems sovled.

To begin with, the description is inaccurate. It says in the description: "All-around zipper closure for easily remove for housekeeping." The zipper closure is NOT all-around, it's only at one end. ONE END. Had it said that, I'd have looked elsewhere. Do you know what it's like trying to squeeze a king-size 3" thick memory foam topper into a sack? Memory foam does not slide. But I decided to give it a shot anyway. So I washed it -- as one should do with any bedding -- and went at it. Almost immediately it tore on each side of the opening. Great. Poor quality, too. So I did as best I could to fold the mattress topper and pull this cover over it. After struggling for what seemed like an eternity, I managed to get it pulled down enough for starters. All I had to do was unfold the topper into it. Yeah, right. As I write this, the topper sits partially folded in this cover waiting for me to calm down enough to give it another shot. I'm not hopeful, since it is already apparent that the cover is too small for the mattress topper. Again, it's a 3" thick memory foam topper and this cover alleges to fit one up to 5". But it's also the length and width that fall short. I will stay at it until I get the cover on. When time comes for "housekeeping," I'll just tear this off, waste the $60, and buy a better one elsewhere. BTW, I don't doubt the other reviewers did better by this cover. Whatever they covered with it must have been of a fabric that this could slide over.

I sleep in a cloud since I got this featherbed. It feels soft, it molds to my body, and the material stays cool against my body.!

Love this... worth every dime.
