The first time I ordered this item it did not give an accurate reading of the temperature. I returned it and ordered another one because this is the only outdoor thermometer I have found that reads at this high of a temperature. All other thermometers I found seem to only go to 110-120 degrees. I'm using this one in my greenhouse and it has been very helpful in that I can better monitor the temp inside. I'm glad I gave it a second chance because it has proven to be a keeper.

We use this on our back porch year round. It is the perfect size, easy to read and very accurate. Would definitely buy it again.

Ok, this is a cheap wall thermometer - but the price reflects that. I bought two and tested them against each other, and a third wall thermostat I know to be accurate. The temperature was accurate on both right out of the box, and stayed that way for several days. There is an adjustment for it tho, but I didn't need to use it. The humidity though was inaccurate on both, and there is no adjustment for that. No big deal to me, I more wanted the temperature - but it could be to you. It is easy to read from a distance and easy to hang. I figured it'd be disposable, but we'll see how it does over the long run.

Don't waste your money! I bought this and another one in white. They were ordered on the same day and delivered a day apart. They worked okay for about 90 days and now are super inaccurate. We use the black one inside, and we use the white one outside. Both are now giving readings that are wrong and make no sense. The white outside one reads 100 degrees (mounted on a tree) when the highest temp of the day was 75 degrees. It is also not water proof so the paper is wrinkled and has water stains. The black inside one reads 85 degrees when it's about 70 inside. It is past the return window, so I imagine that the distributor will probably do nothing about this.😡

Easy to see temp on deck

I needed a thermometer that went above 120°. Yes my backyard has got above 120° this year. This guy does the trick, we topped out at 124° and it hasn’t melted yet thus the five star review

First one didn’t work so I ordered a replacement and the second seems to be working so far.
