Retrospec CM-2 Bicycle/Skateboard Helmet for Adult Commuter, Bike, Skate

The shell is HUGE. Compared to Bell or Gyro brand (similar price) it's like the great gazoo of helmets. That's fine if it's more protective, but based on the construction, I expect this is no better/worse than the other brands (meaning that I have total confidence in it, it's just that it's huge.)

I'm about to buy a second one to replace the first one I ordered. Today my kid crashed and did a face plant at the skate park. The helmet foam compressed to cushion the impact and protect his brain just like it should. Now it needs to be replaced and I would much rather replace a helmet than pay an ER bill!

Nice, low profile, plain design (just a small logo on the rear exterior). Rigid shell overlays 3/4" hard foam and neat nylon lining. Straps adjust easily and the clip fastener works well. Size L is good for my skull (24" measured just above the ears).

I'm really happy with this helmet! I like the minimalist look, and the soft pink color adds personality. The vents offer a nice flow of air. I followed the sizing chart and the fit for me is perfect; I swapped out the pads with the alternate set it came with and it's comfy and secure. Nice style, good price point, and helps me feel safe on the road!

Yes, it actually looks like wood. No, it is not actually wood. It wears extremely well, though. Skid marks and scratches make it look worn in.This is not necessarily a close-fitting helmet. It makes me at least four inches taller when I wear it.The adjustable straps are annoyingly hard to adjust, especially when riding. But they are secure, that's for sure.

I bought the medium after measuring my head and when the helmet arrived it felt pretty small and sat on top of my head more than around it.It looks cool and I feel the protection provided is probably good, but if you have a head at the higher end of the measurements provided for each size, I'd recommend sizing up as they do provide different thickness pads with it which is a nice touch.

I got this helmet for my wife since we are starting to get into biking with our son. A lot of the other options from other brands were not very aesthetically pleasing. This Retrospec helmet is a really nice color. My wife likes it because it is feminine but not too overstated. It’s not easy to make a bike helmet look good. My only complaint is how easily it scratches/gets marked up. We haven’t had the helmet that long and it is showing signs of being marked up.

I have HUGE hair and a big head. The large fit me comfortably. It's not heavy at all and it fits better than most helmets. If you have THICK curly hair this is the helmet for you. It also didn't mess up my hair at all and I don't know how that's possible because my hair goes straight up and it's curly. All other hats and helmets messed up my hair or squished it down. Don't have that problem with this helmet. As a vain man, this makes me very happy. Does it keep me safe? Idk I haven't hit my head yet.

Se ajustó a la perfección a mi cabeza. Buena calidad y acabado. Viene con un juego adicional de esponjas más gruesas, pero en mi caso no fue necesario utilizarlas.El color es muy bonito.Las correas son un tanto incómodas.

Me quedó a la perfección, pedí la talla grande y me cabe bien la cabeza con todo y una ponytail. El diseño está increíble y muy cómodo. Las respiraderas son eficientes, lo he utilizado en calor extremo y no sudo de más ni me da calor. Excelente producto.

La circunferencia de mi cabeza es de 56cm, compre el talla m y me quedo muy bien, es comodo en las orejas y viene con unos colchoncitos extras por si necesitas ajustarlos. El empaque muy bien cuidado.Gran compra

Lo recomiendo más que los de bicicleta de la misma marca (retrospec 3). Este de patineta y bicicleta, monopatín, etc. Esta mejor que otros de la misma marca, tiene protección hasta la parte trasera un poco mas larga que lo de bicicleta, es comodo y el material es bueno

Big on the outside and small on the inside. Heavy and hot, not much ventilation. Best for people that hate how typical bike helmets look and are willing to sacrifice everything so they don't look like they have a mushroom on their head. Still looks goofy. Well built for the price.
