A solid player with additional modern conveniences.
Well built and plays well. I know some bash these Crosley and Victrola players, but I feel no shame for playing my records on The Liberty. Do not expect booming sound from the speaker on this player, it is not meant to be super Hi-Fi. If you desire Hi-Fi, you should look elwhere. At mid volume, I can hear The Liberty through out our small home. For more punch, I use the Bluetooth out feature to a Kliptch: The One/Two speaker. I think it is important to note the player I received was set to the correct speed concerning 45rpm (7 inch) and 33 1/3 (12 inch) record's. I do not have any 78's (10 inch) record's to test this. If you have issues with the correct speed, take it to a reputable technician or search YT for remedies. I do recommend replacing the factory needle with I diamond needle soon after purchase. I found a seller on Amazon selling replacement diamond needles relatively cheap. Be sure to use the plastic needle protector slipping it in place over the needle cartridge on the tone arm. It helps set the needle cartridge in place firmly on the tonearm. Other reviewers have more to say about the additional features provided on The Liberty, but I firmly believe the are rock solid, as long as you you have realistic expectations of what it does well. I think it does exactly what it was designed for well. These are a fun and inexpensive way to get into vinyl if you are new to it, and a good player if you have downsized, as we have. One other thing if you are new to vinyl, seek monural (mono) records for most anything released prior to 1969 and stereo thereafter. The mono records sound terrific on all turntables, including those considered "low end" by some. The stereo records still sound good, but you just won't get true stereo separation on these suitcase type players. Mono sounds good on almost anything. Peace, love, and happiness! 8/8/2024 Update. This Victrola record player is rock soild, and my vinyl collection has swelled due to the addiction of playing record's and searching through stacks of albums at my two local record stores. I have used the radio feature some and it is great at pulling in some fairly distant stations. Still I wish it had a dial, instead of just seek buttons. I mainly use The Liberty to play records using the internal speaker or Bluetooth-ing out. With the right setup, using Bluetooth out is where this player shines and I use this feature almost daily, either to speakers or headphones. I may toy around with the USB feature to create some digital copies of my modest collection. In short, no regrets purchasing The Liberty. Super happy with each needle drop!

Worth the buy
Just got it and I’m in love. The sound is not bad at all for the price point, especially if you close the lid. Connects to Bluetooth in and out so easily, and I think I’ll be listening to more radio now that I have a dedicated speaker / transmitter. It looks gorgeous. While light and not made of the most durable materials, like the Victrola made of the first part of the twentieth century — it’s still sturdy feeling and with good care should be around a while.

Great gift. Compact and easy to use
Bought this for my mother-in-law as a Christmas gift. She absolutely loved the ability to use the legs or put it on a table top. She ended up choosing tabletop. Absolute easy to use Great Sound. I looked inside box stores but found the value and price I received from Amazon was the best value. As you can see from the picture it looks great inside a dining room area. It allows for it to be played while enjoying a meal specially for the holidays

Broke in the first week of using it
Was really hoping this was going to be good, but it ended up being trash. I guess I should start with some of the good sides of it. Yes you do get a built in speaker with alright sound quality, BUT ONLY if you are using it the bluetooth feature. Also the radio feature and ability to play in 3 different speeds was nice. Now everything else about this turntable is bad. The sound quality from playing vinyl records is horrible. It also spins just a little too fast that gives all of the records I play a bit of a high pitch then what they are supposed to be. The overall build quality was bad too, with mine having some of the base wood skin of the turntable already peeling when I took it out of the box. And the worst part about this record player is that even though I took really good care of it, it decided to stop wanting to turn on after one week of use. This has been my first vinyl record player I have ever bought, and it has really made me not want to continue with this hobby. Records, record cleaners, speakers, and just record players that actually work are just so so expensive and I wish that this product would have been able to provide a way for me to get into this hobby without emptying my wallet. I was willing to deal with the sound quality, build quality, and the bad spin speed, but it just had to stop working out of the blue. Incredibly disappointed with this product. PLEASE SAVE UP FOR SOMETHING BETTER!

Great basic entry level player
This will get you started if you’re interested in getting (back) into vinyl. It’s nice that you can drop a record on it and be listening within minutes of opening the box. The included speaker makes it easy. For $99 it’s a steal. Bluetooth was easy to setup and it sounds good on my JBL Extreme. In fact, the included/attached speaker on the Victrola lacks any bass. So it’s good for basic sound with pretty basic/ low quality. But attaching it to Bluetooth shows you that your albums actually to have some depth to them. But if you want to sit next to the player and listen to the built in speaker, you’ll hear the sound on the needle, and then a half second later on the speaker. I presume this is the conversion of analog sound coming off the needle into digital for Bluetooth. It’s a minor annoyance. Closing the top of the case helps to muffle that. Overall this is a great starter kit with some useful features. 3 speeds and the included 7” cartridge ensures all records will play on this. Auto stop is nice so you don’t ruin the needle at the end of playing a side. FM works, but you have to scan to get a station. There are no presets or direct tuning. It also has RCA level outputs but I haven’t tried connecting them to an amp or stereo.

This turn table is very nice. The exterior finish is quite lovely. I was afraid it was going to look cheap and plasticy but nope, it’s nice and classy 😃 it is longer than expected so be sure to check out the dimensions before purchasing. It fits well on our antique table but was shocked on how big the whole thing is 😉. It has a beautiful sound, the controls work very well and I love how they are hidden away. The Bluetooth connects quickly and easily. I wish it had a cassette player too , it would have really completed the machine. I know that other versions do include the cassette player but it was this old antique style that we really preferred over the other machines victrola sells. The turn table arm is made out of plastic , for the price it’s understandable but still looks cheaper than I was expecting. I am also disappointed on the cover, it doesn’t open up very wide and the cover seem to be too heavy for the bracket that holds it open, it’s quite wobbly. I also do not really like the bracket that hold it up, a better system needs to be applied to open and close this lid 🤔. I am being quite judgmental but overall I am very happy with this product when I consider the price we paid for it. Our main goal was to find something in our budget that fit our main needs and fit with our antique decor and this machine does it. The radio control on the front adds a beautiful look to the machine and it lights up when the machine is turned on which is pretty neat. I greatly recommend this product to people with the proper space to show it off. It is not a portable turntable and so it has some weight to it … so if you plan on moving it around often then I would suggest to search portable turntables 😊
