Bought 2 getting close to needing to reorder. At time was fearful printer company was going to block, but never had any issues. Will probably order 2 sets again.+update+ Not sure if its printer , wife using color, or cartridge. But eating through color. Out of 3 sets i am now down to unopened 2 black, 1 cyan and 1 magenta.

I figured I'd give a review since a lot of changes have been happening with HP printers recently. I bought these cartridges for my HP Officejet Pro 8600. My firmware version is CKP5CN1545AR. I have not used the black ink cartridge yet. Magenta installed as a 951 SETUP cartridge and shows a low ink warning but still prints the color, but there is no accurate way to track how much ink is left. The Cyan and Yellow cartridge show up as unknown (951 cartridges with a ?) but the colors still print. Unlike the Magenta cartridge, these don't even show up as low ink but completely blank boxes where ink is normally tracked so once again there is no way to determine how much ink is left.I am assuming the black cartridge will work and function similar to the color ones, where I will be able to use it but unable to track how much ink is left. If the cartridge does not work, I will update my review. Overall, this is a very good value IF these cartridges have more ink than the setup cartridges the printer came with. If you print a lot, you may want to buy a backup set in case you suddenly run out of ink.

The cartridges that work do a good job. The printer will not tell you how much ink is left, but I'm not expecting perfection for $20. What I am expecting is for all of the units to work. I had 1 of the yellow units not accepted by my printer. The settings were correct to use non-genuine cartridges but still no luck. The first 5 cartridges worked fine 1 bad 2 left to try.

Good price but not reliable. Need to have may backups. Three supposedly new yellow cartridges did not work in one day. I knew it was not the printer because when I used a genuine HP cartridge and it worked. Last year I contacted them about the guarantee and got a run around designed to get me to drop my review and complaint to Amazon. They never replaced the cartridge. So be prepared to just throw out some of their cartridges because they won’t honor the guarantee. Two stars because it’s still so much cheaper to use these than genuine HP cartridges where a set costs more than the printer.

My HP 8600 didn't detect some of the colors. Had to go out and buy the HP type. The real problem is it knew they were aftermarket and let me print until I changed out two of the colors and then nothing. The other problem is the black worked but without ALL of the ink installed you still can't print black & white. I guess HP technology is really picking up on this aftermarket stuff.

Just tried the second one, neither work. HP will not work and they are worthless.

I like it when Use it first time it says it’s not original but is working fine and showing how much level inside color

I have a high volume printing requirement. This is a great product - I always go back to HouseOfToner for my remanufactured ink for my HP Officejet Pro 8600. They stand by their products!!! I never have problems in using these ink cartridges in my printer.
