One tube exploded after 20 seconds at 80 PSI
Bought two of these in May. Just put the first one on after I got a leak by my valve that was already patched on my old tube. My tires ask for 60-80 psi and I always ride them at 80 because of my size. First one I put in inflated to 80 psi and then 20 seconds later it blew an 8 inch slit opposite the valve stem. Nothing sharp in the tire. Like others have said, of course it sounds like a gun shot when 80 psi pops in a garage especially. Not a straight split either, it split double starting around the middle of the split. Second one went in and blew up fine. Held pressure after a quick 10 mile ride. I don’t trust it now though and will be buying a different brand from here on out. $6 a tube is too much for trash.I put many hundreds of miles on my previous tube. If I get the same out of the one that’s on now I’ll come back and upgrade the rating. For now. 1/5. Do not recommend.

Stay away from this tubes
I received tubes with a different brand name that the one stated in the box.The box said Sunlite the tube sais Kenda. No big deal, but the tire exploded after proper installation and inflated in stages to the recommended PSI.Once I inspected the inner tube I noticed pimples in the inside of the tube, if you stretch the tube you can see the stress that forms around these pimples.Returned the tubes only to receive a denial of refund or replacement from the seller.I do not recommend these tubes

One in 4 fail in 8 weeks
I bought 6 of these tubes, including 2 replacement tubes enroute from Amazon as I write, that I would not have bought had I seen the cause of the first failure. I did read the reviews where others had problems, but I gambled with the tubes because of the clear description of the size and valve type and Amazon prime. I use my bikes at different homes very lightly. In this case, I had also put on a new tire. After 8 weeks use I had needed to add air twice, somewhat unusual at 3 miles a day. When I left for six weeks I left my bike parked in my living room and when I returned the tire was flat. I looked for punctures and found none in the tire. I foolishly ordered two more of the same tube (and a patch kit hoping to find a small hole) and the next day removed my tire and tube to check. Picture above shows a clear tear around the valve stem that might be expected with mis use of an old tube but NOT with a careful install of a new tube and new tire. I will buy another brand next time and will add another review if and when any of my other 3 tubes fail. One of my bikes is not used hardly at all so a better headline might have been "1 in 2 failed in 8 weeks".

Replaced the bad tube, pumped it up and 30 seconds later ...
Tubes arrived on time. Replaced the bad tube, pumped it up and 30 seconds later the new tube exploded. Replaced with the second tube and it appears to be holding. Glad this was a two pack or I'd be off my bike even longer.

Good so far
Got these about a week ago and glad I did. Went out this morning and my rear tire was flat. I took the old one off and slightly aired up the Sunlite to help it go in the tire. Got it in and the tire back on and aired it up. Just got back from a 7 mile ride and it did fine.I ride mainly on city streets and paved bike/jog trail. I aired it up to 71.5 PSI on the compressor and the max says 80, so I had no issues there. I got the 2 pack so I think I will get another since I have a ride out of town next weekend and need to ride some more before then. Will update if any issues arise.

As advertised
These fit my bike as advertised. I don't know what makes a better tube. I've used expensive ones in the past and honestly don't see a difference. I'm a weekend rider so don't perfectly tune and balance my bike to run like a professional machine. Maybe I would see a difference then, but these were not expensive and worked well for me. The only negative is that the stems were almost too short for me. But that is on me for not measuring the old ones. The length is well identified in the listing. My rims are off shaped and require a pretty long stem to reach through. These just made it, the bottom of the cap threads only clear my rim by 1mm. Worth checking your old tube before ordering.

EDIT: Split after a few days
I installed the tube and it held pressure for a few days until yesterday when I found the tire completely flat (wasn't even riding it). I inspected the tube and there was a split on the inside of it. The protective strip was there and there were no sharp edges in that area. The tire has the correct specs for the tube and was not overinflated. I replaced it with an identical tube. Hopefully it holds for awhile.EDIT: I believe the problem was actually with the tube protector not fully protecting the tube because I bought another brand and had a similar problem. I installed a high quality tube protector and no further issues. Upping to 5 stars.

inner liner of wheel was fine; one developed a leak in the side of ...
Bought 4 of these last year. Went out this morning and three of the 4 tires I put them in were flat. Took out the tubes. None of the leaks were because of punctures. One was leaking where the brass valve is seated in the rubber. One developed a leak on the inside on a seam; inner liner of wheel was fine; one developed a leak in the side of the tube. TOTAL JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY.
