Brut Classic For Men By Faberge Cologne Spray

It's not fancy, it's not expensive, it's not a scent that will ever be a wow factor. It's just Brut... the scent most of us remember our father's and grandfather's wearing for generations. Every man should have Brut on his dresser to recall times when men were men... and women loved us for it. Not overly masculine, not candy sweet, and not annoying others with an over the top projection like the clubbing and more feminine scents of today often wore by men. Brut is none of that. It's just a fresh, green, clean, barbershop scent that does not announce its presence, but welcomes to be found.

Bait and switch. Like another reviewer, I ordered Faberge Brut Classic, but instead received Idelle Labs "Special Reserve" Brut. Idelle Labs, El Paso Texas, makes the cheap "Brut Splash-On" stuff that I had previously purchased at big box store Wal-****. However, I wanted good stuff like I had in high school in the late 1960's. On Amazon, I paid almost three times as much, for half the quantity, of what was advertised to be "Brut Classic" by Faberge. I should have listened to another reviewer, who also got the bait and switch treatment. The "Special Reserve" that I received would be better suited as a deer repellent around my trees and shrubs. If you are going to have something approximating real Brut, you might as well purchase the cheap, 7 oz, "Splash-On" variety at Wal-**** I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of merchandise through Amazon, and this is the first time that I have felt betrayed by an Amazon marketed product.

As always makes me weak in the knees! When he wears Brut, even after 45 years of marriage, I close my eyes and I'm 15 and he's 17 again. Heavenly!

This is the original scent. In 1966 i was 6 yrs old, my older brother was drafted in the Vietnam war and when he would come back home between tours he always smelled great, one of my favorite smells and i wear it to this day and it always takes me back in time. This 3oz spray, thats the one!

If you enjoy the lighter Brut aftershave, then you will LOVE this gem. The cologne version simply takes the classic barbershop Brut smell and solidifies it. This cologne is just a somewhat stronger and longer lasting version of the aftershave. So, I'd highly recommend this cologne if you have ever liked the aftershave. The price is worth having this timeless scent linger for longer!!! Cheers.

It does not smell like the Faberge product at all. It is in reality a very alcohol-smelling perfume-like spray. I cannot stand it. I do not think this is the Faberge product at all but Amazon allows the seller to mislead the customer. Do not buy this spray If you expect the same smell as the Faberge product. I wish I could return it since I will not use it at all. I will probably throw it away and read the recommendations better next time.

BRUT is always a 5 star product. I have used it for years.

Smells classic - looks great - great vintage gift. If you’re younger and looking for an old school scent this is the stuff.
