Used this for creating "surface" on my O Scale Train layout (It is similar in texture with about the right scale sizing for 'asphalt' if you do this properly and use the correct mix to get the 'blacktop' done correctly)yes, not standard of a use, but it does have it's purpose in Scale models/scenarios

ITS NOT GOOD FOR CRABS
Crabs shouldnt have gravel in thier tanks.If you cant walk with gravel in your shoe,why should they walk with it in their shells.It can cut them and hurt them really bad.Sand is a much better option because you would be ableto walk with sand in your shoe,the same way crabs can walk with it in their shells.
