Update: after the first wear, I’ve subtracted another 2 points. 1 point because the splash proof cuff doesn’t seem to make any difference or provide any benefit at all, as the boots were water logged after the first run through a shallow puddle. Furthermore, it created a a very unpleasant mess on the inside with the heat from the feet and the trapped water and no air.Then another star was deducted due to the insole linings being useless and had to be thrown away after the first wear. They ended up like scrunched up wet toilet paper - and in the bin.Conclusion: I’m going back to paying £25 for a pair of Hatley boots as they are far better at drying on the inside, and not causing heat & friction. The insoles are also much better and long lasting.Original review:I paid £13.99 inclusive of postage for these MufFluo size 7/8 kids sized Pink Brocaded Wellie Boots.First impression: really beautiful and well made. Strong soles that will wear well and withstand lots of action.Contrary to another reviewer, I didn’t find them “very very very firm” - in fact found them well yielding.The colour is vibrant with beautiful subtle sparkles in the light.The splash proof cuff seems to fit very well without being too tight or bothersome.I’ve taken 1 star off as they seem to generate quite a bit of heat and makes feet sweat. We’ve had another brand of wellies in the past with a different lining (though much more expensive) and sweating never happened. So wear good moisture wicking socks.Would recommend and buy again though.Only slight problem is that my daughter says they are too beautiful to get dirty, so it’s a constant job to wipe them clean !

Very, very, firm material. Best suited for a child who can put on their own wellies. We got these as the first pair of wellies for our toddler, and her feet would get stuck above the heel. Once she was in, she couldn't really walk well, either. Definitely not good for new walkers, but would wear well for more active kids.

These wellingtons are just what I wanted. I usually take a size 3 and these are a little roomy so perfect with thicker socks. They are a fabulous colour - really bright pink with a little sparkle that does not show in the photo. Also the top comes up to mid calf which is great. I love them!

These were bought to finish off my daughters Alien fancy dress costume for a carnival.They are nice and bright and colourful and several people have commented on how nice they look.My daughter seems very pleased with them and chooses to wear on many occasions !

Not the best quality but ok. Could do with some welly socks as not really that comfortable.

Great boot and great outer quality, however the insole came out when my son removed his foot (only 2nd time wearing the boots)
