WAY TO SHORT for Standard Size Pistols like M9/P92 or 1911A1 size. If have some small pocket pistols like a Walther PPK or Detonics, it may be tall enough, but for a full size SIG, S&W, 1911A1, etc. forget it, way too short!

These stands are much shorter than they appear in the pictures of them. And, because the upright leg is bent at an angle, the display is useful only for small items. I bought, it, notwithstanding the the dimesions quoted, based on the picture demonstrating this display stand with 1911-style pistol. The pistol in the picture must be toy-sized. There is no way the display stand can hold the barrel/silde of a full-sized 1911 style pistol in a horizontal plane. All that said, the stand is very well made, and is attractive. For what it can be used, I am sure it does very well. It was just not tall enough for my purposes.

These small mounts are good for displaying small antique pistols in museum exhibits.

Wish I would have read the description better, but still works for smaller pistols or if you use them on the frame of a revolver.

A little to small for large frame guns. Other than that, they’re OK.
